5d6 - lowest number: 5d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 3, 6, 4) = 20 = 19
5d6 - lowest number: 5d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 1, 3, 6) = 17 = 16
5d6 - lowest number: 5d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 4, 1, 2) = 12 = 10
5d6 - lowest number: 5d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 3, 4, 4) = 16 = 14
5d6 - lowest number: 5d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 4, 5, 4) = 22 = 19
5d6 - lowest number: 5d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 5, 2, 3) = 15 = 14
So, I'll have the last 14 replace the 10, so my character's starting scores are 16,19,16, 14, 14, and 19. All above average.

Not bad: 20, 18, 17, 16, 15, 13
I was thinking scaled fist monk but open to other ideas. I always love my fighters. Eldritch knight?!

Matthew G. Smith |

Here are the few characters in mind:
Blacksmith, human, fire type bloodline.

Arthur Stonefire |

Human, charismatic bardbarian!

Amris Lazuli |

Halfling or human, moldable. Devoted. You know him.

Baris the Monke |

Or was it this one?

Ed the Dog |

I miss Ed! I may add h8m here as an attachment!

TheWaskally |

In order of preference:
1. Arthur Stonefire (possible fellow noble, keep the sublime template)
2. Matthew G. Smith (would be a cool bodyguard/common man contrasting my camelot noble)
3. Barris the Monke
Ed the Dog for sure!

Arthur Stavian |

Arthur it is then! Sounds good, I can also make some adjustments if you have any suggestions.
We will go with this avatar of him as it is 2nd level not 11th.

TheWaskally |

Here's what I have for backstory currently:
Lord Cyril Albert Claudin Lucan, is the second son of Lord Blake Lucan and Baroness Willow Lucan. He is preceded by his brother, Lord Edgar Lucan. Cyril is a member of House Lucan, a noble minor house that began shortly after Camelot's construction. Cyril famous ancestor was Lucan The Butler, a famed minor knight in Arthur's orginal Knights of the Round Table. Five years ago, Lord Blake Lucan was killed on duty while defending Avalon from a incursion from the south and The Red Horde. Although there have been many suitors, Baroness Willow Lucan, who inherited the title after Blake's death, has not remarried nor shows any interest in being remarried. Rumors say because she enjoys being the head of House Lucan too much. Like it's founder, House Lucan has produced many paladins of note of the centuries. Cyril's brother, Edgar is no exception, being a fine upstanding paladin of Iomedae.
The crunch is done. I just need to make a profile. I promise since this is a new campaign I shall label and track any and all increases to ability scores.

Lord Cyril Lucan |

Here he is, just some minor tweeks to work out.

Arthur Stavian |

So you good with me adding the sublime template? Or we can add that later.

Lord Cyril Lucan |

You and the sublime template are a Match Made in Heaven. Add it now.
What more would you like for Cyril's background?
I was thinking our duo would deal with some Avalon politics and intrigue. Maybe officially become Agents of the Crown, if not full knights. And like most adventurers, travel Arcanium doing quests and righting wrongs.

Lord Cyril Lucan |

What has Cyril done? Studied at an academy, been tutored on his parents' estate, what has he dealt with bandits, monsters, etc.?
His parents noticed Cyril's keen mind early. As a child, instead of asking questions just to pester, the young noble would ask followup question in hopes of understanding. Thankfully, Cyril had access to some of the best tutors in Camelot. He spent two years at The Caradoc Bardic College in his late adolescence, where he learn ed to play the violin among other string instruments. Lord Blake wanted young Cyril to take a paladin as a master and learn his oaths, but Lady Willow didn't see the need to make such a smart boy into another 'weapon of the church'. This caused friction with the marriage for a few years. Ultimately, Lord Blake gave up on fighting with his wife. Sadly, Cyril decision to focus on learning made his otherwise close father distant and secretly disappointed in his youngest son. Cyril eventually was taken as a squire to The Order of Merlin in hopes the young scion might become a wizard. Cyril did some chosen catrips, but was more interested in the working of magic, magic item identification, and spell memory.
Being a baron, Lord Blake has several manors on his medium-sized property, and many guard to protect them. Lord Lucan employs a small garrison of soldier, warpriests, and paladins. Young Cyril knew paladic code, but was quite unwieldy in a heavy suit of armor or a longsword.
What is his demeanor?
Cyril often speaks in a courtly and intellectual manner. The investigator feels to not fully use the full vocabulary is a disservice to the language. Thanks to his association with Arthur Stavian, Cyril is trying to 'loosen up' with varying results. The young noble enjoys any intellectual discourse, and maybe a little court rumor-mongering.
What is a daily day for him?
Cyril Lucan gets up in the morning, often saying his morning prayers, then gets washed and dressed to go down stairs to the main dinning room for breakfast. After breakfast, Cyril often practices on various string instruments for at least one hour, maybe two. Then morning study, the subject changes daily. Then luncheon, often in the greenhouse or windowed nook. After lunch, Cyril makes himself available to his mother or other members of the house to assist or brainstorm solutions. Then social commitments, parties, or other business with the nobility. Then bed about an hour or so after sunset, where Cyril gets his evening reading done. Bare in mind, these event are typical if nothing else take president.
What has he been occupying his time with?
Currently, Cyril understands his nature lore is woefully lacking. So he is often reading treatises on medicinal herbs, mushrooms and lichen. The young noble has courted others in the past, but nothing serious, as he has not found the right fit.

GM Wolf |

Perhaps we should talk about the kingdom:
Kingdom: Avalon
Capital: Camelot
Population: 100,000+
Population of nobles: 3,500
Main Commerce:
I am having troubles thinking through my thoughts...
Nonetheless I was thinking that to only having two events is a slow day.
Arthur is used to going to one party and to the next enough that he I always full.

Lord Cyril Lucan |

Where did Lady Willow leave Lord Blake's magical map for Cyril?

GM Wolf |

Message to all games: Due to my time restraints in the near future, until May 16, I will need to be posting less. My goal will be to post Monday and Wednesday night. I know this means that the game will slow down but if I don't get my work done first it won't be pretty. I hope you all the best and we will see how it works for the next three weeks.

Lord Cyril Lucan |

Could I have the breakdown for these Superpowers?
Super Accelerated Learning
Harness the Power
Awesome Genius
Perfect Recall
Knowledge of the Gods
Unassailable Wish

Lord Cyril Lucan |

The problem is, I, as a player, have a good idea what Unassailable Wish is and how important it is. Cyril does not.

Lord Cyril Lucan |

No. I'm fine with going forward. I'll make a bigger post when I get home from work in about an hour.

GM Wolf |

Have you applied the template to Cyril yet?
Sublime
Positive energy fills and enlivens all naturally born beings to one degree or another. It is the very essence of life. Sublime creatures are individuals and beings with a much stronger connection to this wellspring of energy than is typical. Preternaturally strong and healthy they nearly glow, so strong is the life force within them. While some sublime creatures are born with their abilities, others are beings who have been blessed by the gods or have been exposed to sources of pure positive energy.
A sublime creature is the epitome of health and beauty, being more comely than other members of its race.
Creating a Sublime Creature
“Sublime” is a template that can be added to any living creature. The creature is distinguished by its strong aura of positive energy, and its extraordinary health and beauty.
A sublime creature uses all of the base creature’s statistics and special abilities, except as noted here.
CR: +2
Armor Class: Increase natural armor by +2.
Speed: Increase all the base creature’s natural speeds by 10 ft.
Special Defenses: fast healing (equal to Charisma bonus); Immune magic aging, disease, positive energy damage; Resist Negative Energy 10, increase the base creature’s Cold and Electricity resistance by 10.
Special Abilities: The sublime creature gains the following special abilities.
Ageless: Though the sublime creature is not truly immortal, it does not suffer the ravages or negative affects of old age. Upon reaching maturity, sublime creatures gain Intelligence, Wisdom and Charisma as normal for a member of their species, but are otherwise unaffected by the passing of time. Sublime creatures never die of old age and they are immune to any spells or effects which cause aging.
Channel Positive Energy: The sublime creature may channel positive energy as a cleric. Substitute the creature’s racial HD (minimum 1 for creatures with no racial HD) for cleric level to determine how effectively the creature can channel. If the creature has actual cleric levels (or other class levels which grant the ability), the creature’s racial HD and relevant class levels stack when determining the effect of the channeling.
30-foot radius centered on the cleric. Will DC 19. 11/day. 1d6 ⇒ 6
Will save to halve the damage. The DC of this save is equal to 10 + 1/2 the cleric’s level + the cleric’s Charisma modifier.
Positive Energy Affinity: The sublime creature’s affinity for positive energy is such that it is immune to any damage caused by positive energy effects or attacks. Additionally, any healing spells, or other effects, derived from positive energy are doubly effective when applied to the sublime creature (roll as normal for the effect, adding any bonuses such as those derived from class level, and then multiply the result by two).
Strong Life-force: In addition to its Constitution modifier, the sublime creature also adds its Charisma modifier each of its HD when determining hit points.
Abilities: Increase from the base creature as follows: Strength +2; Dexterity +2; Constitution +8; Intelligence +4; Charisma +8.
Feats: Gain Toughness as a bonus feat.
Skills: +4 racial bonus to Diplomacy.

At work. My character sheet is a home. I just need to update profile from completed character sheet, then level him to lvl 2 gestalt.
But thank you for this workup of the template.
Say, how do you want to handle HP. Max or roll oit?

Cantrips
Wizards can prepare a number of cantrips, or 0-level spells, each day, as noted on Table: Wizard under “Spells per Day.” These spells are cast like any other spell, but they are not expended when cast and may be used again. A wizard can prepare a cantrip from an opposition school, but it uses up two of his available slots (see below).
Scribe Scroll
At 1st level, a wizard gains Scribe Scroll as a bonus feat.
Poison Lore (Ex)
An investigator has a deep understanding and appreciation for poisons. At 2nd level, he cannot accidentally poison himself when applying poison to a weapon. If the investigator spends 1 minute physically examining the poison, he can attempt a Knowledge (nature) check to identify any natural poison or Knowledge (arcana) check to identify any magical poison (DC = the poison’s saving throw DC). Lastly, once a poison is identified, he can spend 1 minute and attempt a Craft (alchemy) check (DC = the poison’s saving throw DC) to neutralize 1 dose of the poison. Success renders the dose harmless. The investigator has no chance of accidentally poisoning himself when examining or attempting to neutralize a poison.
Poison Resistance (Ex)
At 2nd level, an investigator gains a +2 bonus on all saving throws against poison. This bonus increases to +4 at 5th level, and to +6 at 8th level. At 11th level, the investigator becomes completely immune to poison.
0-level spell per day +1
1st-level spell per day +1

No worries. If you are invisible it gives you a +4 bonus on your first strike, unless you have greater invisiblity which gives the bonus every strike.
MOD means modifier.

Lord Cyril Lucan |

At time of post, Cyril was next to Arthur. Cyril had his own undead and was separated from the main group.

Arthur Stavian |

2d12 ⇒ (6, 9) = 15

Lord Cyril Lucan |

Yeah. Nevermind. I was thinking of making a post being more descriptive of the magic shop, but I lost the inspiration (investigator ha ha). I'll make a spoiler later today.
