Fafrd Poison: 1d6 ⇒ 4
The Monarch buzzes above the wall, spreading its dust across fafrd's eyes. This time visions of spores cloud his eyes.
DC 25 will save or Stupefied for Fafrd.
Then, the Monarch casts a spell that attempts to require the ulfen archer's senses making him process noises as bursts of color, smells as sounds, and so on. The cloud of kill moves 10 more feet.
Please make a DC 28 Will save. Remember to include your Stupefied if needed. Fafrd will also need an aura save at the start of his turn, but let's resolve that a bit later.
The target's senses are suddenly rewired in unexpected ways, causing them to process noises as bursts of color, smells as sounds, and so on. This has three effects, and the target must attempt a Will save.
⠀➤ Due to the distraction, the target must succeed at a DC 5 flat check each time it uses a concentrate action, or the action fails and is wasted.
⠀➤ The target's difficulty processing visual input makes all creatures and objects concealed from it.
⠀➤ The creature has trouble moving, making it clumsy 3 and giving it a –10-foot status penalty to its Speeds.
Critical Success The target is unaffected.

Will DC 25 - Stupefied: 1d20 + 12 - 1 ⇒ (10) + 12 - 1 = 21
The gobbo, or is he that still? Is a bit confused. Is he a plant? Is he an animal? Is he a people? It's hard to tell, but that thing on the ground just hurt him!
"DIE DIE DIE!!!"
He floats down and over, attempting to spear the thing through the proboscis. Then tries to stop his blood from being on the outside instead of the inside.
+1 Wounding Striking Silver Halberd - Enfbl vs. FF: 1d20 + 17 - 1 ⇒ (15) + 17 - 1 = 31 for Slashing/Silver + W.S. + Rage - Enfbl: 2d10 + 4 + 2 + 6 - 1 ⇒ (2, 7) + 4 + 2 + 6 - 1 = 20 (hit adds 1d6 persistent bleed, crit adds 1d12)

Bair screams. At the hazy edges of his vision he sees foliage — maybe his arme — swinging around like branches in a whirlwind. Down at the Monarch…
Hey thanks for leaning into the weird plant hallucinations
He bleeds away some of his renewed vigor…

Kamil flies toward the prone monarch!

yes keep rolling till you crit succeed. Even if you get all 3 conditions you will need to roll as crit failing makes your condition worse
Kamil finds himself Stupefied 2, as those hallucinations of lilacs he feels blossoming under his tongue take root. Literally.
Kamil you were here before: https://share.getcloudapp.com/Z4unjE2o — how did you get to the Monarch in 1 stride? Also remember the wall of thorns is 10 feet high and difficult terrain to push through.
Kamil Durus

@GM Sorry, still on some of PF1 rules and wrongly believing that going done flying was like moving speed x2 (like in PF1). I've reread the rule on flying for 2E.
So I clearly can't get there in one move, and not even sure to get there in two...
Just assumes that I use my 3 actions to be above the Monarch and forgot all my rolls (except for my critical failure on my save :D
| GM Doug H |
Got it. You would need 3 because of the difficult terrain ascending
Kamil moves into position above the Monarch.
The monarch stands… Iarann takes a swupe but misses; Bair cuts away vines with his halberd!
The monarch flies up and needles their proboscis at bair!
Proboscis: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (19) + 21 = 40
S: 2d12 + 9 ⇒ (1, 7) + 9 = 17 34
Deadly: 1d12 ⇒ 6
40 - 3 temp HP = net 37 damage.

Morgan maintains her connection with the Combusted, who continues to suffer under the aura.
Will save vs Aura: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15

Fire Mote vs Monarch: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 24
Damage (Fire): 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 plus 1d6 persistent fire.

Will DC 25 - stp: 1d20 + 12 - 1 ⇒ (4) + 12 - 1 = 15
The thorny gobbo tree recognizes that a lot of his bark is gone. He frees up a vine and grabs Dr Rick’s Certified Harm Free Plant Balm, Grape Flavor. He slathers it over his body, or drinks it through his roots or something else. It instantly grows him a healthy bit of rootball back.
Grabbing his big axe again he wonders why a plant would own an axe.

The monarch is still bleeding, right?
Bleed: 1d4 ⇒ 1
Flat 15: 1d20 ⇒ 8
| GM Doug H |
Yes, still bleeding, thank you! Also since you have all 3 conditions I think you can forget about saving in the aura.
Fafrd/Bair: If you don't move you still need to spend an action to hover or you fall. I assume you would do that instead of taking another shot Fafrd, and Bair to not put hand on weapon.
Monarch bleed: 1d6 ⇒ 1
Monarch flat: 1d20 ⇒ 6
When Bair bleeds the monarch sucks up his blood (or, sap from Bair's perspective). Heal 14 He then heals himself!
Fafrd somehow lands an arrow in the monarch.

Morgan's run of luck continues. If you can even call it luck.
