I see three letter moves to get to silent which Molasbar believes is the correct choice as well. Who makes the letter moves knowing they cause 1pt dmg each? Aurie?

You enter the room of which a cursory inspection reveals nothing useful other than trying to copy the murals. Following the hall to the north you come to yet another set of stairs, this one, like the last, is going down.

Shathee quietly trails after Aurie, but glances back at the small sound of the noise. Seeing the wererat sneaking up on them, Shathee turns and calls out a warning as his rapier flies up into a defensive flourish facing the flanking attacker.

I don't believe I am taking that into account. I'll go back and double check though.

Without a word, Shathee quicksteps back down the hall to stand beside Aurie as he slashes the mithril rapier at the ratty-looking creature.

Aurie's falcata strikes true. Though it draws a grunt of pain and a stare of daggers it does not cut that deeply as if Ayala's body resists the iron.

The two rats obey the command of the mistress and hurl themselves down the tunnel to attack Aurie. Both rats bite at her legs, one gouging her calf, the other an ankle (2 pts from each, total 4). They threaten to drag her down and it is only their lack of size that allows her to keep her feet.

Ayala's eyes flashed with anger and she lashes out at the one who would dare strike her. Aurie tries to parry the blow but the sinuous nature of the bladed scarf make it difficult to do so. The blades cut into Aurie (dmg 7).

Molasbars stalks a bit closer as he unfurls his whip and utters a single, precise syllable.

5' step, ready whip, cast true strike. Bow is still in hand too.

Shathee steadies himself and takes another swing at the wounded rat, inspired by Aurie's cleaving strike.

@shathee: when you say wounded rat, do you refer to Ayala or one if the actual rats.

Ayala just barely dodges Shathee's attack as she looks wildly about her for a means of escape. The rats seem preoccupied with Ayala's behavior and so are not committed to their attacks on Aurie and fail to even nick her this time.

Rheagar takes a swing at the terrified yet still agile wererat. He misses and she then takes that moment to leap over her rats and dodge away from Aurie. Coming out of her roll she hustles down the hall back the way she came.

Bolstered by Ayala's sudden retreat, Shathee jukes and attempts to spin between the two giant rats and cross the hallway to slide his blade into the rat in front of Aurie.

Acrobatics to slide between them and flank with Aurie so Shathee can throw some sneak attack on his attack. Pretty sure the Acrobatics isn't going to make it though. So he'll at least stab the rat if he can't get through. It'll be a plus 2 to the attack if he does flank and I'll do Sneak attack damage separately.

When Ayala disappears around the corner, Molasbar curses under his breath. He drops his whip, nocks an arrow and shoots it at the injured rat.

With the Rat slain by Molasbar true strike shot, Aurie rushes forward, provoking an attack of opportunity.

She likely hits, but its hardly an expert throw, still, it should stop the rat from regenerating.

Little bit of a replay here.

Shathee manages to clear the rats and stabs the one directly in front of Aurie, it dies with a gurgle. Molasbar then shoots the remaining rat dropping it to the floor. Aurie hustles down the hall and rounding the corner she lets fly her dagger. It hits Ayala in the shoulder before clattering to the ground.

Ayala doesn't even look back as the dagger glances off her shoulder. She begins to sprint to get away out the door the heroes came in and out of sight.
