OK, well u til then we may as well just piecemeal it together, run things by me if there's a change you'd like to make. As far as I can tell, wizards have the biggest makeover, but I haven't really been paying attention.
Waedin Craftsdotter |
I think the removal of alignment is the biggest change for clerics. They changed spells up too but until that's available on archives of nethys, I'm sticking to the old spells.
I'm assuming Gerana would either require or allow her clerics to be 'Holy'.
Dorian 'Grey' |
I will be allowing any changes requested by players as the Remaster gets on Archives. Although, any clerics that desire immediate changes to take affect...lol.
I've read some of the Remaster as it was leaked, but I have not fully read them as yet.
Nothing seems overpowered. Mostly cosmetic and bye bye Schools. Names will be weird for a bit, but we shall preserve in our continued marring of Owlbear, Black, Blue, Red dragons and Gelatinous Cube!
Waedin Craftsdotter |
I picked up one of the new feats 'Warpriest Armor' so when she can afford it she'll get full plate and be EVEN TANKIER. Going full on shield priest over here.
And welcome Ustemir and Kolek!

Welcome! We have one other player in the midst of figuring their PC out.
I myself am in the midst of a busy week as I'm training for a new teaching position, but I'll move things along SOON(tm) promise.
Ascaede Voheque |
Am the other new player, with this Human Thaumaturge. Going to go and reread all the interactions between my abilities and Recall Knowledge. As they are before the Remaster. Then I'll try to understand how that will work after the Remaster...

Total cash=289cp, 180sp, 70gp
Should we divide the cash evenly?
Alternatively, I have a loot spreadsheet that we can use that could theoretically make our lives easier, if people remember to use it.
It can also be helpful if someone would like to volunteer being the party inventory specialist. ;) ;) ;)
Sébastien of The City of a Hund |
Even is find. If we have kept any items just deduct value from cash is how my home group does it.
The Wand is 160gp although it looks like it's not accounted for monetary?
Shemar Dunebright |
Unidentified Shield-shaped Brooch (DC 17, any tradition)
occult: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
"Drat. I can't make heads or tails of this brooch. Anyone how scared to take a look at it?"
He says, passing it to whoever is willing to take a look. Looking at his own dragon pendant, her looks at some of the other items: the pinewood bear figuring, the hippogriff tankard, and the owl brooch. "Perhaps these items will foretell who might be joining us next.". He says with a weak smile.
I'm for splitting it all even, although I would propose a party fund spot as well.
GM_NotAngryButUpset |
There's a steel shield for Weadin ;)
Just FYI, anything not claimed I assume is being left behind.
Stepnik Bellow |
Was Stepnik able to identify the shield broach with his 24?
He would like the wooden dice cup with the dice. (Just for fun). And would pack up the crafting materials, and the artisans' tools for future use.
As far as distribution of loot, I'm kind of in favor of us just deciding what is best for the party and contributing to that. If there is a debate... just roll off for order of Aquisition.
I would think we keep the rope of climbing in party loot until we add a party member whom it's obvious is the best choice for it... like a Monk or rogue. :-)

Hot damn! 1 gold per passage is HUGE. I assume this is from the original adventure in 1e? 2e economy was revamped.
An equivalent of a +1 weapon in 1e is a striking weapon, which requires a level 4 and 35 gp for potency rune and then 65 gp for the actual striking rune.
So a side by side comparison follows:
+1 property 2000 gp
Masterwork weapon 300 gp
Base weapon price (varies)Total 2300+ gp
Striking rune 65 gp
Potency rune 35 gp
Base weapon price (varies)Total 100+ gp
I'm good with either ruling, but once I walk out of town with a fee like this, I'm locked out.
Ascaede Voheque |
I thought PF2 uses the silver standard, and not gold, and starting characters get 15 gold ( so 150 silver). I was under the impression that to make the transition to a silver economy, the prices are 1/10th what they used to be, but I am neither an economist or a mathemagician, and am often completely wrong.
Ascaede Voheque |
Just FYI, you're Quest Log (under campaign info) is now up to date!
There are still quests active for Valkor and Elry, yet they seem to have departed…
Ascaede Voheque |
I’m away from home for the next 4 days - I’ll still be able to check in an post, just a little less frequently (or voluminously) and access to maps might be…strained…
GM_NotAngryButUpset |
As we are going into the holiday season here, I expect most people will be away from their keyboards, as it were, so no worries. I hope everyone is able to stay warm, happy, and healthy!
GM_NotAngryButUpset |
Hey I'm happy when y'all are having fun :)
But sometimes I want my monsters to live past the first round ;)
Stepnik Bellow |
BTW. Is the inventory tracker active and populated? It looks blank to me. I'd hate to have to go back through threads every time to determine our loot situations. Might want to buy something before venturing forth.
