Sorry, Can't read the scrolls right now, I don't have the relevant cantrip memorized. You can giggle as you want. These two potions are of Barkskin, to protect your body from attack. The make up is some warpaint, to scare your opponents. I know the armor is magical but can't assess its properties. The cloak is a cloak of resistance, to boost your luck in dangerous situations. The chain shirt seems beautifully crafted, probably of very good quality. I'm no expert on armors, perhaps Bobbie? This cestus is beautifully balanced. As for the rest, I have no idea.
She pauses.
Now, who needs healing?I have a wand that might help. That was a very tough fight.
Erica 'Bobbie' Zufan |
Sometimes, Iomedae is with you! ;)
Exhausted, badly burned and out of breath, Erica takes a few moments to rest. She knows that she got lucky to run the spellcaster through before she could finish her incantation and mutters a barely audible prayer to Iomedae to thank her for guiding her sword true.

She shakes her head when Desynthia asks for her input. "They look regular to me." She looks at the scimitars and chain mail approvingly. "They're very well made, though."
"I might need some healing."
Markus Stonewarden |
Should we restrain her? She's not bleeding.... Markus looms over the fallen orc before doing just that, and putting a sack over her head for good measure. He slumps against the wall, looking around the chamber. Yes, Des I think many of us could use some healing at this point, ouch, everything hurts...
GM DavidC |
The sack begins to smolder from the heat still rising from her body.
To speed this along, you may choose to take average healing from wands, potions and scrolls of healing. You may roll if you prefer.

As you finish patching up, identifying what items you can, and thanking your deities, you hear voices coming from the southwest. Farzinel recognizes the language as orcish. He can't make out any words, but there is a burst of laughter as the voices near.

The fighter's wounds close up, though that burning spell left some pretty impressive scars on both of her forearms.
She tenses up as voices and laughter is heard.
"Oh, hells," she mutters.
As quietly as she can, she lifts up her sword and shield, and gets near the door, gesturing Markus to leave a clear line between her and the corridor.

Farzinel the Learned |
The voices grow louder, there are two of them, both male. Farinzel can understand them as they approach.
"By Gorum, this place reeks of smoke. Boss must have been playing again."
Another replies, "Yeah well, she'd burn you alive if you gave her any sass. She's brutal."
"Voices ahead. Deep ones," warns Farzinel, keeping his voice to a whisper. "Two as far as I can tell and one referenced 'Gorum' and a 'boss', suggesting that we may soon encounter more orcs."
"Perhaps, we should meet them in the hallway rather than allow ourselves to risk being cornered in this room," he suggests. "Though, I will follow you."
The wizard loosens his robe and prepares for more casing if a foe should suddenly appear.
