In theory, I'm ok with both of those. I'm not sure how I feel about Weapon kata in that we are using Elephant in the Room and that makes Weapon Focus apply to a whole weapon group. I'd have to ponder if that if a problem.Laird_Thorne wrote:Weapon Kata (Combat)
You have learned to mix your flurry of blows with your weapon of choice.
Prerequisites: Weapon Focus (any manufactured melee weapon), flurry of blows class ability
Benefit: Choose a weapon for which you have the Weapon Focus feat; you may use that weapon as though it were a monk special weapon. You may select this feat more than once, each time applies to a new weapon.
I think it works like Weapon Specialization in that it has to specify one particular weapon.
What is your ruling on Ascetic Style and a Monk’s unarmed damage die? As I understand it with Ascetic Style, the selected weapon would use the Monk’s Unarmed Die for Damage? Would that still apply for a thrown weapon?

Thank you. :)
Can we make one adjustment? This would allow whatever weapon chosen to then be used with Ascetic Style. If not, no biggie. :) My concept has kind of morphed to a Warpriest (Sacred Fist) of Desna and would build this towards a starknife fighter. :)

Pan Pan Tsang |

The railroad comes as far west as Korvosa and Magnimar, with the Magnimar railroad only completed a few years ago.
That all works perfectly with Pan Pan's backstory. Her father, a wealthy but cruel merchant seized on the opportunity of the railroad and settled in Korvosa. His single-minded pursuit of wealth and power created many enemies in the city, and Pan Pan suffered for it.
One of her potential side hook quests is that her parents' murder remains unsolved and she is a wanted fugitive in Korvosa.

I'm going to go ahead and choose Pan Pan and Isabella.
Isabella was part of the original recruitment and withdrew for good reasons, but I was going to choose that character back then. Pan Pan interests me from a flavor perspective.
Please report to Discussion and we will work out how to bring the two of you in.
