Watchtower should be collapsed now, I think. From tomorrow on we can start tackling the purple Stone-requiring crafting tasks. I'm going to spend 2gp every day on those myself.
If the Barracks is Cleaned today, I'll Repair it tomorrow.
After that there's only one optimization point, I think, and that's Repairing the Outer Wall. That's the one where Filara and Cherie should work together.
Regarding the other Crafting-required goals, I think repairing the Stairs to the Roof have some priority, as that'd free up a new work project for unskilled labourers.

GM:
Day one hired two workers for Cherie, two on Rosa's behalf.
Day 2:
Cherie was working on the courtyard with Rosa; when Filara took on that task, Cherie went to help complete the barracks, which seemed to be important. Since the two farmers are hostile, and she is untrained in charisma, she was attempting to ease their animosity by talking about planting flowers.
Allies:
Cherie has +8 to crafting for repairs, and can make a nature check to plant the flowers the third day.

Sounds good, just wanted to be clear as things down the road will depend on all these.

I'd love it if I could get Cherie's Clue In bonus to tomorrow's Outer Wall work. I'll wager 2gp to it. If Cherie matches that with 2gp, we'll likely get it to a state where it can be finished tomorrow. And if we're lucky, we can get it done in a day.

Can I have Junissa for today, Jarith?
We have an awkward bottleneck here.
Certainly! To avoid doubling or tripling up in one area, Jarith will focus on the unskilled tasks for now.

![]() |

There are no multipliers.
If there are no rolls needed you earn 1 checkbox per person working on it. (So max 4 boxes per PC per day with 3 NPC's hired)
If doing a downtime event that requires a roll such as Crafting expert DC 12 or stonemason and Carpenter then you need to either be Crafting Expert or hire the Stonemason and Carpenter and make a roll. Your roll determines how many days completion in the task.
Critical success: 6 days
Success: 4 days
Failure: 2 days
Crit Failure: 0 days

Nope Cherie can try to plant again.

![]() |

Cherie can 1) Help Rosa finish the barracks, 2) Help Filara work on the Outer wall, or 3) Help Bo(?) fix the gate. DC 12/15 Craft might be do-able

![]() |

Cherie, I'll go power through the planting with possibly a hero point on Day 5. Please pick up the work on Outer Wall or the Main Gate meanwhile with Junissa.
Rosa is good at the barracks right now with the DC 12 check.
The one place where Cherie and Filara should work together is the Stairs to the Roof. Let's go there when Rosa is finished with the Barracks. Stairs doesn't require Junissa's help, so on the days when we work on the Stairs Rosa can take Junissa to work on either the Outer Wall or the Main Gate.

![]() |

Nice job with the Barracks!
Junissa isn't needed at the Barracks, so she's free to work on the Outer Wall or Main Gate today.
Can someone without crafting get the Great Hall cleaned today?
If so, then on Day 6 Filara and Cherie can work on the Stairs to the Roof and Rosa can take Junissa to Outer Wall or Main Gate.

It is indeed, I have been adding that in on my end as this had plenty for you guys to figure out already. Professional hiring allows you to add in your level if untrained as well as +2 bonus.

![]() |

I'm a bit uneasy about hiring Wilfred Mayar to help with the carpentry construction because he's unfriendly. I'd like us to priorize the Outer Walls over the Main Gate due to this.
If Rosa finishes the Barracks, that leaves Junissa available. It'd be a waste not to utilize Junissa, so maybe even someone untrained could pick her up to work on the Outer Wall? She gives a +2 bonus and level as proficiency, essentially turning Untrained to Trained. That should be plenty for the DC12.

Also what do you think about the Villagers' motivations? At which point should we call it a day and hand out the tokens? There's a lot of manual labour left now that the Great Hall is cleared.

![]() |

Their attitudes has little to do with construction and more to do with the tokens you need to hand out.

![]() |

trying to make them see the light... but man it's hard... also not sure how to figure out who is friendly and a good match, vs friendly and the wrong person, if that exists...

![]() |

Let me know who you want to hand a token to when you do. I will do a secret sense motive against the person and let you know if you feel they are going to betray you or going to keep your secret.

![]() |

Yeah, just a matter of time. My hero points have been too successful lately.

![]() |

There is a bottleneck at the fort, so nothing for Cherie to do there.

![]() |

I think we cleared the bottleneck if the impression plan doesn't work. Clean the Roof, Excavate Stairs Below Hall/Clean the Dungeon are available untrained.

![]() |

Just let me know if you want a recall knowledge check and I'll roll them in secret.

![]() |

Sorry about holding you all up, I was having a strong reaction to a flu vaccine, which made my usual foggy brain even worse. I posted everywhere else. :p
GM: I'm not sure about how to make the mechanics of the devise a strategem work here. Should I have just included the bonus in the initial roll?

![]() |

Here is the most common way I have seen devise a stratagem done here.
Devise a Stratagem: 1d20 ⇒ 6
Attack 6+7=13
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

[dice=Devise a Stratagem]1d20

[dice=Damage]1d6+3
Thanks.

And we may want to pay the Sage to help with the cleansing to get a +2 on Jarith's Religion check. Doing this for the Decipher Writings might be a good idea too.

![]() |

You only need to pay it once.

![]() |

Not sure how the sage figures in. We pay the sage, or give 40 g to the shrine?

The dungeon was not actually clear until 2 days of work by Jarith's crew. So, Cherie would have to wait 2 days before she could Decipher Writings in the dungeon (and we haven't gotten to that stage yet).
If Cherie hires a crew of three, she can clean out half of the dungeon the first day (and Jarith's crew the other half). That leaves the second day to Decipher Writings (both Jarith and Cherie can make a check).
Or, if the GM is OK with it, just choose another activity for the 2 days, then use the Religion checks after that.

If Filara targets one of the three skeletons at the top, Rosa will have a chance to stand up and get out of the AoE before the HTS goes off.
I don't understand this. As far as I see there's only two skeletons up over the gate. Also, HTS will go off at my turn, before Rosa can act.

You don't see the skeletons surrounding Rosa in the courtyard? There are 3 of them.
Rosa's turn is before the group of three, in a block with Filara, so just choose to go after her turn.
