Wait, what was the age difference in old kids vs young kids at the beginning of the game? Willow is putting Karley in a very bad situation if she was only like 9... XD

Willow is only 18 right now. I'm quite certain Karley isn't 6 years younger than her. Iirc Karley was maybe 6 at the youngest when this started... But you should know that better than I. Lol.

There is an obvious loophole - Willow misremembered Karley's participation due to the psychedelics.

a younger kid is approximately human age equivalent of about 8 to 11 years old, while an older kid is about 12 to 15 years old.

Ok, so if the prologue was 8 years ago, Willow was 10 when the game began, then 6 years before orgy. So Willow was a 'younger kid' when the game began like Karley (not an older kid like I was thinking). But still Karley is younger than Willow just by how we've been RPing. That means at most Karley is 3 years younger. I suppose that sounds about right...sure Karley is 15 or 16 now.

Also gosh dangit! I'm rereading recruitment and younger kids got the Lucky feat for free and I never used it. XD

You also had (and still have) halfling luck.

Orgy would have just been 3 years ago for Willow.

Plus, a vast age difference like that would have also made the idea of a kissing booth competition in Exandria pretty weird, too. ;)

Yeah, I was maybe thinking Willow was one of the older kids instead of just older than Karley. Or/also I'm just totes clueless half the time about everything lol.

Hey guys. I have some bad news.

I'm stepping away from doing PBP stuff on Paizo. Personal reasons. I don't want to leave my games in a lurch, two of them have been rescues I picked up from other DMs who quit, because I know it sucks for a game to end prematurely. I feel awful ruining things for you guys. So I am hoping, perhaps, some of you might be willing to pick one or more of my games up. If anyone is, I can hook you up with all the pdfs, any notes I've made, plans I was brewing, whatever. I joined a patreon for this game and have tons of extras.

Such a wonderful game and DM, even though its not completed you've already given me a bunch of great memories...so thank you so much for running. :) Honestly, has to be in the top 5 games I've been part of on this site.

As for DMing, I do not have the bandwidth at the moment to pick up the responsibility unfortunately. I am player in too many games already and have already committed to preparing to DM another game soon (Spelljammer). Otherwise I would love to try and give it justice.

I hope you are ok, whatever is going on.

Thanks for running the game Fern, it was one of the most fun games I've had the pleasure of participating in on these boards.

Hope all is well, or if not, stepping away gives you the bandwidth necessary to remedy that.

With The Lost City in a bit flux, I would consider picking this one up provided the remaining players stay on board and I can figure out a way to write Vash out.

While I would happily play Witchlight again, I am not interested in continuing Willow's story with another DM.

For the rest of you, I will see you around on the boards.

Given the above, I will withdraw my thoughts about picking this game up. With having to write Vash out, and Willow not wanting to continue her storyline without Fern, that would leave only three original characters remaining - which would be problematic for me to move forward with.

I will miss this game and all of you. I hope that we can all find one another in other games here and I will keep an eye out for you all. Thank you all so much <3

Fern, sorry to hear you have to stop the game, but totally understand that RL comes first. Hope all works out for you and thanks for running the game.

I know she plans to do so with all the games she's leaving when she is able.

It takes more effort, but you can also dig through the general play-by-post forums and find the last post from our gameplay. Clicking the little no-smoking-sign on the right hand side will remove it from your campaigns list.
