Baghotir sees the others doing well, while he still struggles against his lone foe. No wonder I'm in the back - I'm a glorified pack animal!

He tries to do better.

Map

Caelius puts a quick and non-lethal end to the last bullywug on the field. It collapses onto his face in the shallow water, but still continues to breathe just fine.

All goes sill for a moment and then there is an echoing series of croaks and ribbits, that coalesces into something that can only be called frog-song, accompanied by a twangy, stringed instrument being plucked disharmoniously.

From behind you, in the direction that Baghotir was facing, a grand Frog Man wearing a gaudy crown of garbage comes riding a giant toad. The Frog King is obese and wart-ridden, his wide mouth ringed with jagged sharp teeth. He laughs and whoops triumphantly.

Before him, leading him, are three frog men. Two look similar in station and power to the six you just defeated. The third wears a parody of high-court troubadour clothes, though soiled and torn. He carries an odd stringed-instrument that he plucks with a tinny sound. He gestures menacingly as he marches, making rude hostile sounds towards the party. He steps before all of them and makes a deep, ostentatious bow to you.

AARP! he says, pumping his fist triumphantly!

He looks to his king and the king makes a big show of holding up his hand, his thumb extended to the side. He shakes his hand up and down and settles the thumb, thumbs down.

Aarp croaks a battle cry and the three frog men rush to attack, their bloated king watching the show.

Figures are not on the map yet. They are coming in directly west of Baghotir and are 80' off of the map. Bless from the last combat has ended.

First the hammer ends the song, slamming Aarp's maw shut. Then the Spiritual Axes of Clangeddin Silverbeard end Aarp.

The bullywugs around you are quiet as Aarp falls, dead to the ankle deep muck-water below, his blood running down the Dunwater river.

You will pay for that. Aarp was a fool, but he sang such sweet music. The Music of Chaos and hunger.

Through the muck and the haze, the enormous, brutish form of King Gulpa'Gor emerges astride a toad large enough to devour an adult person.

I AM KING GULPA'GOR, MASTER OF THE HOOL MARSHES! SLAYER OF LIZARDMEN AND ELVES, DEVOURER! DESTROYER! BLESSED OF THE FROG GOD!!! THIS WILL BE YOUR LAST WARNING--KNEEL AND BEG FOR YOUR LIVES AND MAYBE, JUST MAYBE I WILL ALLOW YOU THE HONOR OF BEING MY SLAVES. BEG OR YOU WILL DIE.

How does the party respond?

Map is accurate.
