You all are gathered in a local inn, the Rabbled Rouser. The inn is crowded full of travelers from all over Golarion, but it doesn’t stand out much from other taverns nearby. The PCs are relaxing and enjoying their time off from adventuring when they notice a distraught man, Wiston Drent (male human), wandering from table to table and making his plea for help. Wiston soon makes his way over to where the PCs are gathered.
The troubled man speaks quickly, Please, please! I need help! I could tell from across the room that you’re a group of honorable adventurers and I have been desperately searching for such folk to help me in my quest for justice! I beg you, help my poor elderly parents. A dishonorable Taldan nobleman has tricked my poor, naive parents out of everything they have! Their coin and any items of value were swindled from them, but their pride won’t allow them to ask for help.
So, I must ask. My parents are good people who didn’t deserve this treatment. They’re kind and try to help others, and this is the thanks they get for trying to help someone they thought was in need. Please, won’t you help me retrieve what was taken? I know it doesn’t look like I have much of a reward to offer, but I promise you will have one from me and my parents at the end of this.

"Well, sir, I am not simply an adventurer, but a Pathfinder--one of the Society's chroniclers to be more precise. Though it is true that I have been stepping out a bit more lately--into the field, so to speak--it has generally been to gather information or exemplars for publications rather than engage in the acquisition of artifacts and the like," replies a somewhat handsome, yet quite bookish young human man.
"But, I suppose I have digressed," he concedes, as he quickly tries to gather a few ink wells and sheets of paper that he had scattered across one of the tavern tables and hastily, yet fastidiously return them within his traveling pack. "I am Abittus. Abittus Rullio, that is, and if you think that I may somehow be of assistance, then I am more than happy to offer you my time. I would hate for what you have described to befall my own parents and, if it is simply a matter of seeking a nullity of some dishonest business transaction, then I think there little chance of violence and I would suspect the entire matter could be addressed quite civilly, really."
The man appears ready to prattle on for a good deal longer, when one of the sheets of paper rustles free of his hand and he heads further into the tavern in an effort to retrieve it.

Basag is about to finish his sumptuous meal of beef steak and ale when a young man approach them. He is a muscular dwarf with hair locks which has dwarven war axe as his weapon and wears a breastplate as body protection. He just listens to the young man's plea as he finished the last piece to the bone and drinks his ale to its last drop.
"Ha! That was delicious. Gonna go back to this place, food is great," he tells Wiston. "Anyway, how much do I really get if I help you? You see, I need more bread, kinda short of it actually," he's now talking business.

Jyllian looks disapprovingly at Basag, her brown eyes stern. "How can you think of your purse over the aid these poor folks need? Not that I disapprove of material rewards, but they shouldn't be the deciding point for aiding those in need," she chides him gently.
Turning to the distressed human, Jyllian smiles and offers him a seat, running her fingers through her short chestnut hair. "I'm Jyllian Kero, a champion of Milani, and I would be delighted to help you. What did you say your name was? Is there anything else you can tell us about the circumstances or the person who committed this dreadful offense? Can I offer you something to drink?" She pushes her undrunk glass of ale towards him.

And the miscreant's name is Malcolm Stanian, and I can only guess he did it because he knew he could and that my parents wouldn’t fight back. This is why it’s such a horrible thing to have happened and why I truly need your help to bring them justice.

The man takes another drink of his dark brown ale before pulling back his hood to reveal the devil horns above his orcish visage, ”M’name’s Detective Damian Darkblood. I’m on the case.”

The Rabbled Rouser is located on a busy waterfront near Absalom’s harbor. The streets are crowded with legions of taverns and warehouses; each full and echoing with sounds of sailors, travelers, and dockworkers. There are hundreds of ships scattered along the dock just waiting to set sail on their next journey. Wiston leads you through this district toward his parents’ home in the Coins district.
The Coins District is home to the Grand Bazaar market, which, in the daytime, is full of people from across Golarion looking to buy goods. As Wiston leads you further into the district, beyond the Grand Bazaar, it becomes dark as evening descends over the city.
It is soon apparent you are being led towards Misery Row, one of the most dangerous neighbourhoods in the Coins. Criminals and the corrupt regularly operate out of this area, as well as several pickpockets and thieves.
