Amour certainly gets the sense that this is no mere human with the way she moves and plays with Martius.
Amour attempts to cut in but she looks at him playfully. "Only, one at a time dear. The song is almost over."
Martius grabs her using this as a distraction. The woman yelps as she stumbles momentarily but ends up catching herself as she is swung closer to the balcony.
Amour is sure she is human but with some sort of special druidic powers
Still tossed off by her small near fall she barely manages to drag Martius along with her.

Realizing that this is a Dance of Death, Martius changes his step. Instead of matching the dance he tries to blend into it a somewhat hypnotizing pattern of footwork, a complex time signature.
Shard tries to sneak over while she's Fascinated, and stick his guisarme under he legs to trip her up.

While Martius would have normally failed to fascinate this strange woman a guisarme shaft extends from the shadows before rapidly retreating once more as she stumbles closer to the balcony.
She barely keeps her footing as the pair are right next to the balcony doors. This is Martius' final chance to prove himself and win this challenge.

Amour begins to loudly clap along with the music. He subtly changes the timing at multiple key points, doing his best to disrupt and distract her dance performance, all while looking like he is simply having a wonderful time.

Martius grabs her around the waist and swings her through the open doors to the balcony. She smiles. "Well, seems our song is over. A deal is a deal." The fey's more natural features begin to take hold as she turns, plunges into the water, never to resurface again.
A crystal decanter worth 1,800 gp is on a small table near the settee. It’s half full of exquisite wine.
Still plenty left to ruin. Shard nods at the door, where the clandestine meeting is taking place.
Amour will listen at the door to see what he can hear from the meeting.

None of you recognize the sort of fey that may have been, but get the feeling that you were lucky to have outdone her. Amour listens at the door. This next room doesn't seem to be where the meeting is taking place.
The walls and carpeting of this music room range from a pale mauve to a garish purple. Indigo stained-glass windows are mostly concealed behind heavy velvet curtains. A large, elegant harp stands on a wooden dais in one corner, and several stringed instruments rest on and around a shelf near several stools and music stands. Although the music from the masque is quieter here, the strings of the harp echo with it. Two curtained exits lead from this room.
Shard scouts ahead, peeking behind the curtains while stealthing.
"I thought for sure that I'd be swimming. That was closer than I would have liked. I wonder how deadly she was in combat..."
Martius hangs back as Shard does his thing. He whispers to the others, "Reminds me of that room with the harpsichord. You know the one, the "Great Ustalav Incident of 4713."
He waits patiently for the scout report.

Shard peeks behind the curtain. He watches as four investigators yank one of the potted shrubs free and stuffed the magistrate into the potting soil headfirst. His hands are tied behind his back. As he chokes and coughs on the moist dirt, the interrogators pull him out to ask questions about his past cases and his allies before shoving him back into the dirt. "Who are they? Give us names!"
Shard listens, trying to get a bead on who they're looking for. He waves Amour to come and take a look too, as he both knowledgeable and stealthy.

"Would have worked too if the damned thing wasn't ticklish!"
Martius continues to let the spy do spy things.
Amour sneaks forward to see if he can make any sense of what is happening.

From what Amour can tell it seems that the Magistrate Otvald is being interrogated for being a bit outspoken against the Gray Gardeners and using his position to possibly undermine them through his cases. Though not for much longer as the Magistrate begins to choke on the potted dirt within the large vase. "If he doesn't talk soon, then just let him die."
From what you can gather the interrogators don't seem to be speaking about your group directly but rather Otvald's other known associates. "Getting the blame shifted to your guards and having them arrested only saved you for a little bit Otvald. We are onto your schemes." The Magistrate's face begins to turn a deep shade of purple.
Shard shakes his head. Any enemy of the gardeners is a friend of his. He sneaks in, and attacks!
"You will do no such thing scoundrels!"
Amour steps into the room, trying to draw attention away from the victim and from Shard.
Shard springs from the shadows!
He flies through the air and strikes at magenta!

Then he Steps back.

Amour looks for an opening against Green.
Seeing none, he instead whispers a litany of Disturbing Knowledge at Green instead.

Amour's disturbing knowledge seems to set the Gardener on edge as his hands begin to shake. . This helps Martius feel a bit more heroic as Shard flies through the room to strike first. Shard's fauchard catches the man off guard as it sices across his arms trying to block the blow.

Miloban moves in and gives the green Gardener a look to kill.
"Let's show these fools how to party!" he says tossing back his capelet, and striking a heroic pose to inspire Zealous Conviction in his friends!

Miloban instills a bit of heroic zeal into the group as one of the Gray Gardeners clutches at his chest. Gasping in pain he falls over dead of a heart attack from fright.
Drawing kukris the Gardeners charge in as they apply a dark looking poison along the blade. The Magistrate gags on the dir as he claws at his throat. He isn't able to get the dirt up and will need help soon before he chokes to death. "Let him die, take care of these Usurpers."

Shard flies over to the man and pulls him out of the dirt. He hovers above, giving him a pitiful look. Then he Lunges at Red from behind the bush.

Amour uses his dubious knowledge to frighten one of the Gardener interrogators. Shard scoops the Magistrate out of the dirt and helps clear his airway. The Magistrate's face turns from a deep shade of purple to a lighter red as he begins to hack and cough. Shard then slashes at the frightened man from behind the bush.
Miloban wants to end the interrogation quickly and sends a massive wave of lightning arcing through the crowd.

Martius begins to understand the true fear that the Gray Gardeners feel as the kukri blades slice him from all sides seemingly at once.

Shard slashes at the wounded interrogator opening up his ribs. The man shakes but yet he still manages to stay standing. Amour draws his sword can and swiftly stabs the Gardener through his heart, killing him for good.
Martius holds off the poison and deaths door as he heals his wounds.

The Interrogator's are shocked as the electrical arc burns across their bodies. The exit wound of the charge blasts holes through the bottom of their boots as their cheeks bear scorch marks. "That's it, this one is going to die!" They each mark Martus for death, giving a moment for their muscles to finish convulsing.

Shard and Amour team up on the foe as their blades slide deep cuts into his body beneath the heavy clothing.
One of the Gardeners falls into a silent scream as he collapses into the nearby bush. Martius points at the remaining Gardener and finger guns him with a bit of powerful magic.
The magic bursts through the Gardener's heart, killing him on the spot.
Otvald sputters more dirt from his mouth. "I shouldn't have been so negligent." He coughs, laying on his back, trying to catch his breath. He closes his eyes to stop the room from spinning as the blood rushes from his head. "Thank you for the last minute rescue."
