The group pull out a few coils of rope to leave the crocodile and troglodytes to their own devices when they awaken.
Fifty feet farther west down the sewer tunnel from the guard chamber is the entrance to the lair of the Crocodile King just as Lemedor said. It’s an 8-foot-tall by 8-foot-wide tunnel carved through the bedrock that appears to have been punched into the sewers from the other side judging by the muck covered stone and tile rubble that lies in the sewer wash in front of the entrance.
This small cavern, roughly hewn from the surrounding rock, soars 30 feet high over a roaring fire pit. An enormous throne, haphazardly crafted from wood scrap and rusty nails, sits in the northwest corner. Opposite, crates and barrels of various supplies all stamped with a variety of Absalom trading houses, sit stacked against the wall. A small table and chairs are tucked into the southeast corner of the room and a smaller chamber in the back, dimly lit from the fire, holds several smelly sleeping pallets. A steady wind pushes through the room from the back chamber, causing the fire to dance and snake toward the sewer entrance. The entire room is bathed in a flickering, cold chill. [b]"You hear a voice from the chilling darkness. [b]"You broke my hold on that imbecile."[b] The voice seems to bounce off of the walls.

“Khorshid, I know you mean well, but honestly have you not seen pics of the Prince of Lies? How can you believe anything he says?”
“I mean, don’t you think his Title is a bit of a giveaway?”
”Isn’t that a couple of coils or rope there, Roland? I wonder if this is a faction mission set out by Zarta”
“Ah, don’t leave Z'hor'll alone with the captives, people.”

"You broke my hold on that imbecile."
“Do you mean, Lemedor? How is that a surprise, Lord Corgan?”
Kyra looks about for a soul jar and shakes her head. “You just outlined his best quality.”
“Are you going to make us stand through the standard villain’s monologue-reveal, now? If we ask you nicely can we just have the edited highlights?”
Is there a knowledge (religion?) check or some other way to know how to put Lord C out of our misery, GM?
Kyra is ready to try channelling positive energy (like she would to a haunt) if she thought it would help.

Earlier …
Khorshid looks at Z'hor'll & Kyra, shakes his head and wrote:”I’ll pray to the lord of darkness that he’ll give you strength to take action when swift judgement is necessary!!““Khorshid, I know you mean well, but honestly have you not seen pics of the Prince of Lies? How can you believe anything he says?”
“I mean, don’t you think his Title is a bit of a giveaway?”
”Kyra, I have heard a lot about you so I sincerely believe that you have fallen prey of the propaganda that surrounds the all-mighty Dark Prince! As you outlined the pictures show the lord of the pit with a contract… and it is clear that the prince of law is the correct title as the citizens of Cheliax also correctly understand. You on the other hand need to reflect on the truth … and that truth is that you can learn a lot of the preachings of the ruler of Hell!“ he says with absolute dedication.
~
Now …
Khorshid rides forward to be able to see what is hiding in the room and where the voice is coming from.

"The fools arrested me for my field research, calling it forbidden. A diviner tracked me to Katapesh, where I fled, and I was arrested. They called me vile, necrotic, and manipulative for using demonic pacts."
A large crocodile slowly moves from the darkness of the room. This large and brightly scaled creature looks somewhat humanoid. It has a strangely human face, though a stunted and teeth-filled crocodile’s maw exists where a human mouth would be. The scales on its face allow no expression and it walks upright on two reptilian legs, trailing a thick, stunted tail. Its arms, though covered in scales and reptilian in coloration, look more human than lizard.
"They bound my soul into this amulet, making sure I would never be resurrected. I was in a fugue state, floating in nothingness." The crocodile snaps as it speaks. "I can now get my revenge."
Two elite troglodyte guards rise from either side of the crates wielding deadly looking warhammers.
