After you have taken your time to heal up and refocus, you report this to Ashasar. The Suli druid raises his brows. "There have been reports of temporal rifts all over this complex." He holds up an apparatus that is made from humming gems and copper wires, frowning as he takes notes on how it spins. Ashasar gestures down a red stone hallway. “Speaking of time rifts.... I'm detecting planar anomalies ahead. It might be the focus. Investigate please. I've a number of other anomalies to assess.”
Following Ashasar's directions, the party feels time stretch and slow as they head down the hallway. Soon, moving feels like attempting to push through molasses or tar.
"Arrroooooooooo!"
You hear the distant baying of hounds, then voices shouting. “They're coming, run!” and later, “No! Hold onto me! Don't let... No!”
As Grum pushes his way ahead, he feels time distort along the hallway, feeling like sludge. Abruptly, the weight of years press down upon him!

You enter a stone chamber with tall red pillars, some of which have collapsed. Multiple paths lead out of this room, and a massive purple gash covers the distant wall. As you approach the purple gash, you feel time slow again. This must be a time rift and the source of the anomaly Ashasar detected.
During this encounter, all creatures are slowed 1 until this time rift is closed.
An insectile humanoid dressed in strange clothes leaps through the time rift. He looks at you in confusion. "Wait... Who are you guys? I thought I was ahead of--" Laser beams strike the stranger in the back, killing him. He falls to the ground, smoke coming out of his back. A moment later, strange robots pour out of the time rift and attack the party. They call out, “Intruder alert! Depart at once or be destroyed."

Greezgux is confused by the sudden appearance of such strange and abnormal creatures. "What are these things?" Spitting on the ground the thick sludge trails across the ground as if it has a life all its own. It trails along to the center robot as the dark spittle enlarges and clamps around the center construct, sapping its life.
The small Mosquito Witch Doll wakes back up and sits up out of the pack. One of the explosive beads of fireball are lodged in its mouth. As Greezgux moves around the small orb dislodges and activates the orb.

Greezgux casts his vampiric maiden spell but does not stride, as he does not have the actions for it. Meanwhile, his familiar activates the Necklace of Fireballs II.
