"Once you all are finished taking things off them bodies, I say we head down the passage behind the tapestry there. Might give us a sneaky way into the next room."
Kimlo rambles over to the curtain like wall cover and moves it to see what is behind it.
"Good spot there, Zuhelein."
Anything bad happen, a trap or such???

GM Ietsuna |

A search of the goblin corpse reveals a wand of cure light wounds (20 charges) some leather armor, a masterwork falchion and 95 gp.
You advance down the hidden passageway. It takes you out of the Spire and to a little used area at the rear of the structure. There is nothing of great interest here, however it does appear to be some kind of "back door".

![]() |

"This here is a back door. Something may ambush us, but I am not sure we should leave just yet. We did not find much. Perhaps we should see where that spell slinging goblin was going? We might find a hord more of the green buggers."
Kimlo turns around and heads towards the South door. He steps over the bloody, green corpse as he enter the next room/hallway stopping at the next door.
"You all coming?" He calls back over his shoulder.
Moved to the South door. Someone want to check it for traps? Kimlo can just open it if no one offers.

![]() |

Galandir will check the door for traps, of course.

"We've got a couple of more doors as well, but since this is the direction the goblin was fleeing, I'm guessing this is where we will find more goblins."

Kimlo waits for the 'okay' from Galandir. Then he will open the door, quickly readying his ax as the door creates the opening.
"Well...We are here." "Surrender or die." Kimlo says to the darkness ahead.

GM Ietsuna |

Listening at this door Galandir can hear at least three voices arguing and a clatter as if small rocks are rolling across stone.

It would be great to skewer flat-footed goblins, but Kimlo has already offered to spare them.

The goblins were never going to surrender and you have readied more than enough damage to take all three out. I am hand waving this combat
The goblins jump up from the ground and run at your group, drawing their dog slicers as they go. The party were ready for them though and as the green skinned goblinoids get close they are hacked down.
You look around the room and find pieces of moldering food here and there. In one of the beds you find a particularly smelly cheese, so smelly in fact that you gag. Under that very same bed you find what appears to be the arm of a clockwork humanoid. It matches the style and aesthetic of the clockwork automaton you faced a few rooms ago.

![]() |

If we have searched the room and bodies, are there doors in this room that take us into the central black oval area from this room? If not we would check the eastern double door set for traps. We would gather up there and head in.
"Take a look the doors if you would, Galandir. Let's get ready. There might be more goblins in here." Kimlo points to the appropriate door or doors leading into the central dark area.
"Let's check it out."

GM Ietsuna |

You can go through either of the sets of doors, either to the east or the west.
Galandir checks the doors towards the centre of the spire and does not see any traps.

GM Ietsuna |

The door opens and you see that this chamber is a flight of stairs leading downward.

![]() |

"Let's save that for later. Line up by the door to the east. Galandir if you would check it, I'll open it when we're ready.
Kimlo hurries to get to the door. He waits for the nod from Galandir and for the others to get set.
please place your icon where you want to be when the door opens. There has to be more here.

Checking over the door Galandir sees no traps on this one either.
I will assume you open the door
A plush, human-sized bed stands in this chamber, along with a table holding a bone scroll tube and jars filled with eyeballs, claws, and teeth. Various automaton parts lie scattered around.

![]() |

"A goblin bedroom? Is this it? We were supposed to find treasure or something. I hope there is a chest full of gold under the mattress else I think we should double back and look at some of the areas we skipped."
Kimlo shakes his head in frustration. "I have not even found enough to buy a fancy ax. There has to be something else here."
We could head down the stairs or check out the tunnel off the northwest tower we balked at before. Seems light only fighting a dozen goblins and a hand full of goblin dogs.

![]() |

Can we go up the stairs? That would be okay too. Kimlo will lead if that is agreeable.
"i guess we shoul try the stairs now. I will lead up them."
Kimlo moves to lead up the stair once the group is done checking out the goblin bedroom.

![]() |

"How much do you think we can get for these metal body parts?" "Don't wizards or the like pay gold for them?"
Waiting to find out what is in the bedroom. Someone competent might aught to do a appraise check on the automaton parts. the bone scroll might be something too. But Kimlo would breezee by the stuff. Thought as above, he might wonder about selling the parts.

GM Ietsuna |

You withdraw teh scroll from the scroll tube and see a complicated magical sigil drawn in iridescent green ink.
Investigating the golem arm you feel that if you took this and the other miscellaneous bits and pieces of Clanky back to town you could sell them for about 75 GP.

Did detect magic reveal anything in the bedroom, GM?

GM Ietsuna |

No, nothing magical in here besides the scroll in the tube.

![]() |

Prior to lining up for the stairs, Kimlo pulls out a bag and starts filling it with parts. He picks up the arm and waves it at Sciath."How about giving me a hand carrying all this junk? Oh look I already got one." Kimlo proceeds to make several more bad puns about hands and arms. Finally he stops when he realizes he is the only one laughing. "Well, those stairs aren't going to climb themselves. Let's get moving."

GM Ietsuna |

You look around and see that you have explored all of the rooms on this level. Time to return to town and reprovision.
