Drake, please introduce your character. After that, the gang's all here :)

Marching Order doesn't apply for this adventure, so you can pretty much ignore it.

Hello, everyone! I welcome tips and advice for me here. I created a character from Oracle class because I find it challenging to play a character that is or will be cursebound or something. I will try my best to learn from and enjoy this campaign with all of you. Thank you! :)

I noticed Raphaelos selected Follow the Expert as an exploration activity. It is not possible for a level 1 PC to be an expert in any skill so there is no one to follow. (Perception is not a skill, so it doesn't apply.)

Thank you for the info, Aleksandr. I will change my Exploration activity then.

Drake seems to be caught off guard and quite upset by the firm reaction of the woman. Apparently, he was not used to this kind of behavior from the women he knew in his home city of Katapesh.
So you've never heard of the Great Drake also known as the Lion of Katapesh, aka the destroyer of Dragons, aka the terror of Trolls, aka the grabber of Giants, aka the crusher of Crabs, aka the killer of Kobolds? How insulting!
I'm assuming those are the scenarios you've played? 1-14 (Lions of Katapesh), Crusher of Crabs sounds like B9 - Fishing in Anthusis, Killer of Kobolds sounds like 02-05?
Drake ibn Jaffar al Kadim
|
B-9 Yes
1-14 not yet
Killer of Kobolds is for Flames of Rebellion, but he hasn't played the scenario.
He tends to hear stories from other Pathfinders and claims them as his own. ;)

Who are we waiting for?
I just posted the follow-on. Our posts crossed, it appears.

So the summoner's act together ability has this line: "This lets you each use separate exploration activities like Avoid Notice as you travel."
So I think for actions that take a long time there should be the ability for the eidolon and summoner to do different things. But if you'd insist on only one of them acting, consider my second roll the use of a hero point.
GM Tiger
|
Hmm. Ordinarily I'd agree, but the text of the bounty is "Each PC..." Eidolon's aren't PCs. I'll allow the hero point -- it's the same modifier.

I'm assuming we can swim back to the deck of the ship. Can we get on the part of the ship that's on its side?
How did we get in the water? I thought the Fort save was to avoid being knocked prone.

The area is where the scenario text has PCs starting. I think the assumption of the scenario is you're essentially roaming the wreck area as it's on a sandbar.
Yes, the areas of the ship are dry land.

Aleksandr, so what would have happened had the Grim Tendrils hit both of you? I think what makes it confusing for me is that you both share the same hit point pool.

Aleksandr, so what would have happened had the Grim Tendrils hit both of you? I think what makes it confusing for me is that you both share the same hit point pool.
Aleksandr is immune to negative damage, so he would not have been affected by that, but could take the bleed damage, so would still have to roll a saving throw.
Imelia is not immune, so would have to roll against the damage and the bleed.
I would then take whatever damage Imelia did and the worse of the bleed.
Now if it were a spell that I wasn't immune to, say a fireball, both would have to roll a save and my hit points would be reduced by whichever one of them lost the most.
3-action Heal and Harm get even trickier as those spells will hurt Aleksandr and heal Imelia. I would roll the save for the one being hurt and then apply the net result.
Say the 1d8 was a 6. Aleksandr fails his save and takes 6, Imelia heals 6. Net result, no change to hp. If Aleksandr saves, net result is heal 3. If Aleksandr critically saves, heal 6, if he critically fails, take 6 damage.

FF = Flat-footed
MAP = Multiple Attack Penalty (The penalty you take for making more than one attack per round.)

Another question, haha! Is it allowed to use the same prepared spell or focus spell as long as I have remaining spell slots or focus points?

There are two type of spellcasters, prepared and spontaneous.
Prepared spellcasters have to fill their slots with specific spells. You can only cast a spell multiple times if you prepare it in multiple slots. Their advantage is that they don't have to learn heightened versions of spells as different spells. Once you have access to a spell you can prepare it at any level.
Spontaneous spellcasters have a list of known spells but don't fill their slots with them. When they want to cast a spell, they expend a slot and can cast any spell of that level. The trade-off is that they have to learn heightened spells at the specific level they want to cast them. So an oracle that wants to learn heal as a 1st level spell and as a 2nd level spell has to use up two of their known spells. The exceptions to this are cantrips and focus spells which do not use slots and automatically heighten and signature spells which do use slots but can be used at any spell level.
Oracles are spontaneous casters.

Are there limitations to the Command spell if the target creature fails or critically fails in its saving throw? Like can I command it to hurt himself instead? Or hurt his allies? Or how about the language barrier between the caster and the creature? Say, I command the grindlylow to go away, will it understand my language and follow me? Like, I don't think they have their language and wouldn't understand me, making my spell ineffective.

"You can command the target to approach you, run away (as if it had the fleeing condition), release what it's holding, drop prone, or stand in place."
If it's not on that list, you can't command them to do it.
Or how about the language barrier between the caster and the creature? Say, I command the grindlylow to go away, will it understand my language and follow me? Like, I don't think they have their language and wouldn't understand me, making my spell ineffective.
Command has the Linguistic trait.
Linguistic: An effect with this trait depends on language comprehension. A linguistic effect that targets a creature works only if the target understands the language you are using.

Now, I get it. Thank you very much. Sad I can't use the spell to the grindylow.

Black's reflex save is for the Electric Arc. The escape action is just you rolling an escape (unarmed, athletics, or acrobatics) vs Black's Reflex DC (which is the Reflex Mod +10).
