Wait... we... it has taking hours? I don't like that.
Yes, Diplomacy (Gather Info) checks take 1d4 hours, I’m pretty sure.

@GM Mauve: let us know if you're waiting for something from us... I *think* the party is all good to go fetch the real Lofton at this point.

Yeah. 12 is rough.

Answer: Because you seem to have focused your character entirely on damage. We call these few special individuals Glass Cannons where I'm from. LOL
Now you know what your next belt should be. :P

When i create it. Years agp, i focused in ac. Then at level 3, i receive my first crit. Luckly it was an nonlethal weapon. I keep hitting. myself after this. Maybe i should the belt for a con one. A -1 to hit is not bad.

12 Con is rough for a melee damager.
But plenty of ways to manage that. Assuming you already have a +2 belt of strength, I'd suggest adding +2 Con to it (upgrade to Belt of Physical Might, 6000g more) instead of replacing it (4000g).
There are also a couple other items that can help mitigate risk of death, not to mention just having enough Prestige Points saved up to get a resurrection and restorations.
Aegis of Recovery (neck, 1500g) gives a one time 2d8+3 heal when you drop below 0 HP. Buffering Cap (head, 2000g) turns one crit per day into mostly Nonlethal damage.

Yeah it's hard to give you any advice as we can't see your gear pal. I'm assuming you're rockin' a full plate with that nice AC 25 yes?

The buffering cap would be very interesting for not being dead after a crit.
The aegis? I was afraid of swarm (neck) but i haven't bought anything there yet.
I have put the list of items. Very bare Wow, i forgot to buy a ring of protection!

The troll was a CR 9 encounter and focuses all his attacks on the most threatening target, which would have been Jacques. With three attacks+rend and a +16/+17/+17 to attack, the troll could very much kill a character. He did roll a nat 20 and would have confirmed if your AC was just 1 lower. So potential for a lot of damage.

I mean, generally it does require double to kill. But when you do over 50 damage to an already injured enemy even at this level, that usually means dead-dead.
Zzorn
|
... third one. Wow. I was sure you needwd the double of hp to kill with non lethal.
LOL that's double the healing when you apply healing magic against nonlethal dmg you mean...
No, in your case you are not healing anyone with that big sledgehammer... lol

In other news, WE DON'T WANT JACQUES MIND-CONTROLLED TO SWING THAT THING AT US, ok? :P

@GM: tried to PM Noral but he's not responsive yet; he must be busy. I'd go ahead and 'bot him' into healing Patros if I were you, as I think that's what Noral would do first before taking care of the enemies...
