Right now we have the following Challenge Points: 6, 2, 6, 3, 2 for a total of 19.
19 CP puts you in high-tier with 5 player adjustment. This means for Atae and Caitlin, you will be receiving a level bump which has the following benefits:
1) Increase every DC the PC has by 1.
2) Increase the attack modifiers, attack damage, spell damage, saving throw modifiers, skill modifiers, Perception modifiers, and AC of the PC by 1.
3) Increase the Hit Point totals of the PC by 10 or by 10%, whichever is higher.
Additionally, the higher-level players may be increasing these bonuses if they have a Mentor boon. Please state if you have and are using such a boon.
Finally, we are still missing RSGandHi. This shouldn't change anything on your end, but they may move the scenario to a 6 player adjustment or a level bump to the scenario.
As a side note: This is one of my favorite scenarios and is heavy on RP and social encounters. While the adjustments may seem a bit scary for the lower level PCs, combat can be almost entirely avoided here.

No problem, RSGandHi. Being level 2, you have not changed the difficulty for the scenario.
If you have a mentor boon from your faction, please post its benefits to assist the level 1 players. You may not have it yet as it requires a certain level of reputation with your faction to buy it.

The mentor boons are permanent for that character to pass out and I think they are pretty cheap, so they are definitely worth picking up

If you would like to make the ruined lodge the subject of your clue, that is reasonable since it's pretty much one big room. But, is there something else you'd like to Pursue a Lead on?

Sorry, should have been specific. My thinking was that the description of the old lodge, and now seeing the exterior, would qualify for Pursue a Lead. I can maintain two, but I hadn’t decided on a second subject of investigation.

I'm not currently home at the moment but had a thought that someone could grab a hireling for a social skill. Not sure if that's an option or what the bonus is but this is, or can be, a very social encounter heavy scenario so it may be worth looking into

I realize that my statement that only Notherero is trained in Occultism may be a bit misleading. Recall Knowledge isn't a trained action, so anyone can attempt the check, but I only rolled for Notherero because they were trained in the skill for a good bonus rather than rolling for everyone and likely giving out false information from critical failures.
If you'd like to attempt an occultism check to recall knowledge, feel free to.

I don't give it to one player in particular as it's too hard to choose a single person to get it. Share it to anyone that needs it.

Nothero has used a hero point and Caitlin has used a hero point. I think we are close with convincing the King, I think Caitlin goes for Diplomacy backed by a hero point.

Given the RP it’s clear Caitlin is the most invested in getting peace done, I think it should be Caitlin to close the deal backed by the hero point the GM gave out.

When I played this scenario on my bard, I had the Future River Agent background from Kingmaker. When I negotiated with the king, I asked him to form a council with two of the rebel leaders, the king, the queen, and myself. He is now known as the First Councilor of Knowledge of the River Republic of Artume. A lot of RP opportunities in this scenario.
By the way, if you choose to wait out the rebellion, the rebels fail to overthrow the king. If you side with the side that loses with your help or you angered the winner, you get thrown in jail, and Smine has to negotiate your release.

This scenario can go fast if you talk down everyone; otherwise, it can be a real slog of combats if negotiations go poorly. Being friendly to the rebels lets you skip an entire dungeon crawl through the waterworks.

Thanks for the game. I forgot to mention that Klank is field commission so he has 50% more downtime. Considering he uses assurance I'll just add another 2s to his sheet. If you want to change the chronicle that's fine. If you don't, that's fine too.

She is now 2nd level. I am having trouble though with having her have the wizard dedication feat with ancestral elf on Herolab. I cant add the spells because they are all red :(
