Slides & Maps

This is the recruitment thread for Pathfinder Society Scenario 7-10 The Consortium Compact. This scenario is Tier 1-2 and it is an evergreen scenario that can be replayed at 1st-level. This game is being offered in standard.

Start Date
Tuesday April 20th or when I have at least four players, whichever comes later.

Table seating will be granted on a first-posted, first-seated basis. One seat has been reserved for GM Chyro, who requested the game.

Game Expectations
I ask for a posting rate of a minimum of once per day during the business week, though I realize (and expect) that real life can get in the way of fun at times and that not all players will be able to meet that pace. I do not anticipate, at this time, posting much on weekends or during much of the week of PaizoCon.

I expect folks to occasionally be unavailable for a period of time. If I know that I will be unavailable for some reason for more than 24 hours (or 48 over a weekend), I will post such. I request and expect all players to do the same.

At present, I do not anticipate this came completing prior to PaizoCon, so please do not bring a PC that you plan to play at that convention.

I reserve the right to bot players who do not post anything within a 24 hour period and will request each player have botting instructions in place before the end of the first briefing.

If this game sounds like something you'd be interested in, go ahead and post here with your responses to the following:

3) Character Class & Level: Kineticist 1

6 Any other downtime activities: no
7) Anything unusual or fun about your PC that you think the GM or other players may like to know: Clever and playful.

Silver Crusade

Definitely interested in this one. With outpost games winding down I am in the market for a game! And I've never played this evergreen.

PFS:
1) Character name: Micah Elum
2) PFS#-Character#: 123584-10
3) Character Class & Level: Unchained Summoner 2
4) Faction: Silver Crusade
5) Day Job (with roll): Craft: Armor + Artisan's Tools: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 6 + 2 = 24
6) Any other downtime activities: NA
7) Anything unusual or fun about your PC that you think the GM or other players may like to know: If an Ifrit is unusual, then that's it. I guess maaaaaybe if having a somewhat flaming horselike companion is odd, that could work too. Feats and Spells are normal-ish though.

The Exchange

I am very interested in playing. Thanks for offering to GM.

PFS:
1) Character name: Rogarch
2) PFS#-Character#:115226-9
3) Character Class & Level:Bloodrager 2 (Using a replay credit to play it again with a different second level character)

7) Anything unusual or fun about your PC that you think the GM or other players may like to know: She has a familiar named Helping Hand.

The Concordance

Count me in! This PC is level 2, but I've only ever played it at level 1. Oddly it is on my list of have played at level 1, but I don't actually remember what it is about. If I do start to remember, I will keep that knowledge out of the way.

1) Character name: BiggerBird
2) PFS#-Character#: 30504-10
3) Character Class & Level: Tengu hunter 2 (with a woolly mammoth companion)
4) Faction: The Concordance
5) Day Job (with roll): Animal Handling: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
6) Any other downtime activities: probably not
7) Anything unusual or fun about your PC that you think the GM or other players may like to know: He is a Tengu that is more sociable and likable than most of the 'outdoor classes' usually end up being. Also for some odd reason he always dyes all of his feathers yellow. Oh and he has a wine skin that giggles when he drinks out of it.

Brrt!

Appears that we have room for just one more.

Sorry, this is the animal companion for BiggerBird. Just put a post from him so you could see the stats if desired.

Go it! With one seat being held and those already posted, we have room for one more PC.

Mind if I pop in?

Dark Archive

Hello GM, pardon the late arrival.

1) PC name: Alice the whymsical.
2) PFS #: 119488-13
3) Class/lvl: 1 dual cursed oracle, 1 witch
4) Faction: Dark Archive
5) Dayjob: Craft alchemy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20
6) Downtime activities: none atm
7) Quirks: Alice avoids physical confrontation, and prefers words over violence. (Usually) She wears shoes, and lacks the hair on her (smaller than average halfling) feet. (Birth defect, it was called)

Dark Archive

Though i am maybe considering retraining the lvl oracle to witch.
It may otherwise get messed up in the long run.

It'd cost me 280 gp and 7 PP, i think.

If you have not yet played at level two the retraining is still free iirc.

Dark Archive

I thought that to be so, sadly i found out i am above 2.0.

Retraining the lvl nullifies the use of a trait, as well, since i'd lose class skills.
I haven't seen retraining of those so far.

Silver Crusade

Yeah I searched long and hard and couldn't find a way to retrain a trait. There are some very rare boons that allow it, but I've been unable to get ahold of one for my one character with a 'wasted' trait.

Maybe give it a go with the dual-class and try a retrain after this session or later down the line if it doesn't work out? The only cost increase is in gold and it isn't much more each level.

Silver Crusade

Retraining definitely has value though. I've used it on multiple occasions to fix or adjust or make my pc's more enjoyable. Micah here was actually a full retrain right before he played at level 2.

He used to be a bloodrager summoning archetype with a much more hands on 'destroy evil' build. I swapped over to summoner for a few reasons and since have quite enjoyed the added dynamic of an eidolon. Being able to write for two pcs interacting together is fun.

Dark Archive

I know. I have a vanilla summoner, who 'grandfathered' just before the chained version came around.

Yes, deliberately calling it chained, as it provides less freedom for eidolon creation/adjustment, and some spells are higher level than for vanilla.

Grand Lodge

1) Character name: Fyl Imal
2) PFS#-Character#: 9165-4
3) Character Class & Level: Ifrit Sorceror 1
4) Faction: Grand Lodge
5) Day Job (with roll): NA
6) Any other downtime activities: NA
7) Anything unusual or fun about your PC that you think the GM or other players may like to know: He's acquired a growing dislike for monkeys.

Chronicles are available here.

Thank you all for playing! I look forward to sharing a table with each of you in the future. Happy gaming!
