Hi, I'm going to work over the character creation process here if you don't mind.
Basically I'm going to take the first character option possible in the beginner's box and see what comes out the other end.
So
Ancestry
Dwarf, +1 to Con and Wis
HP 10
Speed 20
Darkvision
Heritage
Death Warden: Saves against necromancy are actually crit success
Undead Hatred: +1 to damage rolls against undead creatures
Background:
Acolyte, +1 to Con
Skill, Survival rather than Religion and Scribing Lore
Skill feat, Student of the Canon, don't get incorrect information on Religion recall checks. Failure on own deity recall information still gets information.
Class
Cleric, +3 to Wisdom!
Other Boosts, +1 to Dex, Cha, Str
HP 8 +2 (Con)
Skills: Trained in Diplomacy, Medicine, Religion
Perception Trained
Saving Throws: Expert in Fort and Will, Trained in Reflex
Spells: Two 1st, Five Cantrips
Diving Font, Extra 1st level heal spells (1+Cha=2)
Shield Block Reaction
Deity is Desna
Trained in Acrobatics and starknife, add sleep to spelllist
Prepared spells:
Cantrips
Daze
Detect Magic
Disrupt Undead
Guidance
Stabilize
1st Level Spells:
Magic Weapon
Sleep
Divine Font 2 Heals.
It's interesting. I can see what they're doing with the restricted options but forcing +4 into Wisdom makes it hard to turn the forced option of warpriest into an effective combatant since, as far I can see, there's only one option to buff either Dex or Str.
I might take advantage of rebuilding rules to drop the wisdom down and bump up Dex and Cha to make more of a buffer and starknife thrower which more fits a Desnan warpriest. Still should be fun.

Looks like most people have dotted in. Waiting on Watery Soup. I've added some slides, which you can either find in the header or here. If you can add your token, some of your PFS info (if you have it), as well as your initiative/perception modifiers. Also, if you could indicate your exploration activity, that would be great!

I swear the dice are out to get me. Sure, they work great in combat, but you’d think that is all Borkinhaf is good for the way they roll! lol

GM Mauve |

Okay, you have now officially finished the first level. It's PaizoCon this week so been busy!
I'll work on Chronicle Sheets for those who are interested. Choombolat/Coriat, you don't want a PFS chronicle, correct?
Slorol/Watery Soup, did you decide on who you're applying credit to? Simon Samarian/2358909-2005?

Not a typo!
The Beginner Box is designed for new players. To encourage GMs and experienced players to use it as an onboarding tool for new players, we decided to award double AcP for sessions run as part of the Pathfinder Society. This means players earn 8 points and GMs earn 16 points, plus any adjustments for premiere and premier plus events, allowing everyone to purchase new boons faster!

I've turn the GM's list into a spreadsheet.
Format:
a. Each row is an item that the GM listed. I did not independently verify.
b. There are three columns - a marker for who wants it, a column with the book value, and a column which is the resell value (half of the book value for the items we intend to sell).
c. The bottom row is a total of all the stuff we sell.
Assumptions so far:
1. Someone wants the +1 shortsword and scroll of magic missile. Is Borkinhaf already using the +1 shortsword?
2. We'll find a way to get by without the everburning torch (so we can sell it).
3. Nobody wants any of the spears or leather armor.
4. Nobody wants to keep the pretties, like the glass box with an emerald.
Feel free to edit the spreadsheet if those assumptions are wrong. I've given everyone edit permissions.
We'd have 86 gp and some change to gamble on the slot machines sigh fine spend on necessary provisions. That's quite a bit.
Proposals:
- We should ask the GM if we can buy +1 runes and discuss. They're expensive (35 gp).
- We should buy some first level scrolls.
- Everyone should carry around a minor healing potion or minor elixir of life.
- We should hit the tables with any leftover. Slorol has this system, it's a lock ...

Bruna will swap her Magic Weapon out for Bless and buy a scroll of Magic Weapon instead as well as an Elixir of Life. That's 7 gp. She's not an attacker and neither her st or dex scores are conducive to better armor.

There doesn't seem to be a lot of activity on the spreadsheet, so I'm just going to make some proposals.
1. We keep the minor healing potion, lion steel shield, +1 shortsword, lead coin, scroll of magic missile, and eggshell necklace.
2. We sell everything else, giving us 86.84 gp.
3. We buy a bunch of consumables.
3.1. Alchemical items:
- One lesser acid flask for every party member. These are martial weapons so everyone but Slorol will be untrained, but they're useful against swarms because the splash will do damage even on a miss (but not critical miss).
- One minor elixir of life and two more minor healing potions. This gives every party member a way to revive another, even without spells.
- I've also listed antidotes and antiplagues, but listed the quantities at 0. Not sure anyone wants them but they're situationally useful.
3.2. Scrolls:
- Two scrolls of heal for Bruna.
- Two more scrolls of magic missile for Cherem.
- Two scrolls of magic weapon for Bruna/Cherem.
- One scroll of hydraulic push for Cherem. I've found this spell very useful not for the damage aspect but because it can free someone grabbed by moving the enemy out of reach. So, it's kind of secretly for Slorol since he's most likely to be grabbed.
3.3. Martial stuff:
- Some caltrops just for area defense.
- If there's money left over, Slorol can upgrade his shield damage to 1d6 B with a shield boss (0.5 gp).
4. Making Slorol's longsword +1.
- Either buying an additional +1 rune (35 gp) or moving the rune from the +1 shortsword (3.5 gp).
Note buying an additional +1 rune would mean that Slorol would end up using the lion's share of the loot, and I will not be offended in the slightest if anyone wants to voice disapproval about that. If Merisiel is joining us, I don't know if we can upgrade her equipment and one +1 rune may be enough (meaning we have 30+ gp left over).

That all works for me - thanks! I don't think I have any additional gear wishes (which, uh, might have something to do with the fact that I haven't read that part of the rules yet...), so I'm not gonna add any requests.
Re hero points, I suppose I should also go figure out what those are for.

Cherem Choombolat |

Just a note - we may have moved past that now, but I had been wondering whether the party would be able to find out anything about the "mission" etc. from the kobold prisoner.

Slorol Nutflush |

I'm going to be on vacation next week, and while I'll have Internet, it's possible it will be slow. I usually have no problems keeping up with the text portion of the game, but I may need help with Google Slides.
But, just in case, I'll leave combat botting instructions:
Slorol is a pretty basic fighter. He moves in, and hits things with his sword. His shortbow is on the ground in the pool room (he dropped it). He'll flank whenever possible to give Borkinhaf the flank, and I freely delay (and request delays) so that the flanker gets an extra round of flank if I need to move off.

Slorol Nutflush |

Can I request that we push this game to finish before Gameday begins, and preferably with some extra time so that I can adjust my characters before Gameday?
