Assuming I managed to ninja Scarred One. Reasonable to add +1 to hit with the morningstar. To learn if it has any more powers the Identify Magic action is how to ID in PF2

Scarred one moves to the broken table. He takes a plank from the table. Then he moves northwards and on the ground makes a symbol of the butterfly. Moving to the south he draws a moon with a skeleton face. On the East, he draws an angelic ankh, and on the west a star symbol. He moves outside and speaks in an orcish voice.

"The lost souls of the fallen, follow the star of Pulura to guide you where you have to go. May you be granted Sarenrae redemption. Come back to the beauty in the warm arms of Desna and find your new purpose through Groetus. "

The Scarred One’s benediction touches him, and he waits, thinking. Was redemption something he could find as well?

The cause of putting a haunt to rest is important to Yan, and he hopes there are clues here. Let's get to it. He lights his lantern and places it on a table to light the dark for any lost spirits; he then refocuses, takes off his fancy scarf, and begins poking through the rubble.

Happy to top of Sendoski with another LoH if we don't want to do medicine; it would just mean 20 min refocusing.

Aspenthar

I got ahead in my GM dice spoilers for the secret checks and have been using existing rolls as needed. I'm even known to roll secret checks a room or two in advance and use the results later. For this particular room there's nothing to find until you spend the time digging through all the rubble, at which point it's automatic.

After about 30 minutes of digging (less than expected!), you've managed to come across a few things of interest:

Many tiny bones (some quick math anatomy gives you 6 kobolds which lines up with the number of ghostly figures)
3gp
20sp
A box with components for a caltrop snare
A fang of some sort
A vial of viscous black liquid with the word YUM clumsily written on it.

The room is also quite a bit tidier, you can even see a bit of floor! There doesn't seem to be anything else of value here although at least one of those items is likely magical.

That explains a bit ;)

Scarred One looks at the items

"Can anyone identify this liquid? Does it looks to you like written by a Mite hand?" asks as he begins to work on the fang

Nature +6, Religion +6 to identify magic. From what I recall identify alchemy requires alchemist tools :(

The orc first puts the fang to the ground and begins testing it to some magical influence.

The "yum" liquid does appear to be alchemical and needs tools to ID. Crow's Casks back in town could probably help you sort it out for a few silver at most.

You manage to identify the Wolf Fang talisman without much trouble.

With the kobolds reburied outside the room seems notably more peaceful.

I'm imagining out the broken entrance back to the east. There's a nice nook outside there. Feel free to choose elsewhere as desired.

Between digging, reburying, IDing, refocusing twice and the like it's now about 3:00pm.

We've 'started' today at the keep around noon, and sunset should be around 7pm here in the swamp at this time of year. lets say we're generally good for about a maximum of 8 hours of adventuring a day. (There's nothing behind the scenes that's a time pressure now either. I just like tracking the time and helps spread the action out a bit so we're not level 3 on day 4.)

The old orc participates in the burial but says nothing. He has a hard time that fallen cares for how they are buried and even if it happens. But it is as good an idea as any.

Thinking about kobolds, there's definitely some history regarding them and the town of Otari a couple hundred years ago. While Otari's Odd Stories specializes in fiction, Yan knows it's got enough history and other text books to likely be a good source of further information.

The door to the tower room is your newest most actually doorlike object as it's swollen and stuck in the door frame, blocking not only further ingress but your view as well.

Yan is able to force it open on his first try whereafter it falls to sodden pieces, as though the ravages of time suddenly caught up with it.

Looking in you see that the smooth walls of this circular room are painted a light gray with no indication of seams between blocks of stone. This is the first bit of keep totally free from creeping vines, mold, crude graffiti and scuttling vermin that have otherwise been ever present.

A set of dark iron stairs winds upward along the curved walls before terminating at a trap door in the ceiling a dizzyingly hundred feet above while the western door to the outside has a 1-foot-square window set with iron bars.

A fresh red bloodstain seemingly infinitely deep ripples and glistens on the floor at the room’s center, as though a human-sized creature bled to death on the floor very recently, despite there being no body in sight.

There is magic present.

The blood seems human, or at least something close. Any sort of ageing features that might help make a more specific determination are missing however. The blood seems incredibly fresh.

Despite its appearance the blood is just spread out on the floor with no notable depth although it does occasionally ripple as though it were a pool.

During your initial investigation nothing horrible happens and there doesn't seem to be anything else here other than the massive dark iron spiral staircase (which is remarkably rust free) leading to a trap door far above.

Prestidigitation is of no help in cleaning up the blood spill which lends credence to Sendoski's hypothesis.

There's nothing else down here. Most likely either the blood or the room itself is magical.

10 minutes or so spent identifying magic might tell you more (say 20 total to try both the blood and the room).

The dark iron stairs creak and wobble ominously as they aren't well attached to the wall but seem in no danger of actually breaking or otherwise being hazardous.

After the long arduous climb up nearly 100 feet Yan (and friends?) get to the top where a bronze trap door is built into the stone ceiling.

There are no signs of traps but there is an average looking lock built into the trap door, and detect magic remains consistent the whole way up.
