cold weather rules:
1. each hour below 40* DC15 (+1 per save current DC17) or 1d6 non-lethal.
1b. below 0* check every 10 min
1c. below -20* check every min or 1d4 non lethal + 1d6 lethal no save.
2. Once Lethal damage has been taken Frostbite is possible. Type hazard (exposure); Save Fortitude (DC 16 severe cold, DC 20 extreme cold, DC 24 supernatural cold); Onset failed save; Frequency Severe cold (1/10 minutes), extreme cold (1/minute), supernatural cold (1/rd.) Effect 1 Constitution drain
3. Snow halves movement
4. Falling snow reduces visibility and causes a loss of perception. 60'/-2 Light 40'/-4 medium 20'/-6 heavy

Well, I checked again on my tablet. I see my character but a black screed. Maybe roll 20 don't like my tablet.

After all on the information superhighway, it's a speed bump.

I think if you polled everyone it'd be across the spectrum. From every walk of life. Within my games I actually try to pull from a variety taking my cues from the character presentation . I actually want differing views in my games .it helps with both the rp aspect and problem solving side

I hope her surgery goes well. One of my relatives got a hip replacement - they gained the superpower of knowing when it's about to rain! XD

Your not the only one that hopes it goes well.

As for that superpower of knowing when it is going to rain, we both have that.
Mine due to a injury and surgery due to military service, and hers due to that collision.

I have to admit I am a bit concerned about this encounter - automatic d6 damage per round against level 1 characters is no joke :/

And at the start of the round, even worse.

What's the best RPG ruleset for a classic western? GURPS?

Never really played an RPG in a Western setting...

I am sure there has to be a GURPS book for it though :D

And I would say it probably works well, since from my experience GURPS only 'breaks' when you start getting into games with a very high amount of points (350+) and then mixing and matching systems.

A Western setting seems like a pretty 'down to earth' kind of thing, and I think GURPS usually works quite well for those.

Technically, they only strategically regrouped, cast a spell to actually harm undead from a wise ranged position, and will talk s&@@ when Reknar--violently frigid--opens his lips...lol.

So 2 things.

As I have the skill craft Bow,
1. How do you want to work mundane crafting?
Just spend the gold, and say I have the materials ?
Or do you want me to actually get the materials in game for crafting.

The big thing I will be working on is a bow for myself, and a lot of durable arrows.

Point 2, My intention at level 3 is to pick up CWI.
I will always send the GM a PM with what I intend to make,
Adventuring Days to make, or Total days to make.

The GM will always have final veto on any items.
