Following the cleric's strike, the headless body of the pinned kobold flops to the ground, leaving Stiggur with a handful of blood and gore.
This portion of the tunnel falls silent, save for the trickling of water. The persistent glow of the bluish fungi dimly illuminates the immense tunnel that stretches to the north and south as well as the small, easterly small passage that exits the chamber at a steep incline.
Assuming you follow the unexplored easterly passage...
As you travel up the tunnel to the east, you begin to hear the faint sounds of combat and a familiar woman’s voice half-shouting and half reciting, “As the legendary Gregaro Voth successfully battled the wild beasts in the deepest reaches of the Mwangi Expanse, so shall I defeat you, foul servant of Lamashtu!”
It is clear that Janira Gavix is engaging the minotaur in combat on the surface, evidently having failed to lose the unrelenting creature in the wilderness. Still, her words are energetic and confident, indicating that she has been successful in fending off the minotaur and evading any mortal wounds.
The route to the surface leads through a maze of tight passages that include steep ascents and short climbs as they wind from west to east. The further you venture, the more readily you can hear the sounds of a distant battle echoing through the caves, intermixed with inspirational tales of famous Pathfinders and the heroic deeds—the raging fight between Janira and the minotaur.
Soon, you enter a stretch of cave where Janira’s words can be heard quite clearly, their tone and vigor urging you onward!

Hello GM, I think the map has changed because Oloch would have standard action charged if he had seen that he has a charge lane. So if you allow I will make two attacks.
Unfortunately, if I retro Oloch's movement during the Surprise Round, I would need to retro the entire combat up to now since the "barrier" moved during the Surprise Round and all actions thereafter have been taken based on its current position. Therefore, bless remains up and I will take the first rolled attack and damage for this round.

COMBAT OVER
No further impediment lies between the party and the eastern end of the passage. Upon reaching it, you all notice a faint light at the end of the tunnel. Traversing another one hundred and twenty feet of somewhat slick tunnels, you realize that the source of the faint light was reflected moonlight and that you have reached the surface.
Even at night, the light upon the surface world above provides a welcome reprieve from the blue and green fungus of the caverns below, and the moonlight illuminates a stream whose water is hastened by runoff from a recent storm further up the mountains. A ledge to the west rises up to the nearby forest canopy.
The full moon casts this 40-foot clearing at the base of the Kortos Mounts in a dim light, though one bright enough to illuminate even the shaded leaf litter beneath the trees.
On the other side of the stream, nearly one hundred feet from where you stand at the cave’s entrance, Janira Gavix is locked in combat with her relentless minotaur foe in a clearing on the southern bank of the stream.
Over the din of battle, you can hear Janira shout, “You vile beast! I know not what drives your black heart, but I shall not fail in my duty. I shall see you driven from this forest, back to the hills from whence you came!”

Terrain Notes
The stream is about 10 feet wide and 5 feet deep in this area, and the water moves downstream from east to west at 30 feet per round. Treat this as rough water, which requires a DC 15 Swim check to navigate. A Large creature can walk through the water as though it were difficult terrain with a successful DC 12 Strength check. On a failed Strength check, such a creature is checked and unable to move farther that turn.
A 3-foot-diameter tree truck spans the width of the river, creating an impromptu bridge. The trunk is slippery from the splashing water, and crossing it at half speed requires a successful DC 7 Acrobatics check, during which time the creature is treated as flat-footed for moving on a narrow surface. If the creature fails this check, it falls into the water unless it succeeds at a DC 13 Reflex save, in which case it lands prone on the trunk instead.
The slope to the west gradually rises to a height of 20 feet, and creatures standing at its highest point benefit from both a commanding view of the battlefield and a clear vantage point for ranged attacks.

Sorry, GM. I was going to use the wand to heal Elena after that fight. I was also going to check that Koeuss had used the scroll on Stiggur and do a quick audit of the objects from Janira's bag.
Can we quickly slide those things in?

Oloch - Iconic Warpriest |

GM, can I assume that Bless is still up as we only are a couple of round later?
Oloch casts Shield of Faith on himself.
Oloch can give a touched target a +2 deflection bonus to AC for 1 minute, which increases touch, flat-footed, and CMD as well.

![]() |

Koeuss has not used the scroll yet I believe. Also, @Oloch (or anyone else), I can cast Enlarge Person. Does any want this cast on them? Want to make sure you are willing before I do. If not, Koeuss will cast it on himself.

GM Valen |

GM, can I assume that Bless is still up as we only are a couple of round later?
Eight rounds of bless remained at the time the gelatinous cube was destroyed. It takes two rounds to get to the surface. Therefore, if the party leaves immediately following the fight, six rounds of bless would remain at the beginning of the FINAL TEST! combat.
Can we quickly slide those things in?
Absolutely, but they would take time, which would reduce the amount of time bless will remain active during the fight.
My apologies. In trying to keep things moving, it seems I may have slowed us down. Let's back up for a moment then. Let's get a list of all post-cube actions taken before we advance to the Final Test! combat. If you have previously posted an intended action, please confirm whether you still plan to take it in light of potential time constraints from bless.

![]() |

Koeuss will spend 1 round using the scroll. He can spend 1 more round casting Enlarge on someone. Or he can wait until we're out in the open/in initiative to cast it.

Oloch - Iconic Warpriest |

Let’s use two rounds to buff. Then 4 rounds of bless remain. Oloch uses his war mind abilities on himself and Koeuss in the buff rounds:
- War Mind Oloch can touch an ally as a standard action. For one minute, that ally can choose at the start of its turn to gain +10 feet to base land speed, +1 dodge bonus to AC, +1 insight bonus to attack rolls, or +1 luck bonus to saving throws. The choice lasts for 1 round.

![]() |

Sadly, Saito doesn't have much in terms in buffs at level 1. Main buff is increase my weapon to a +1, but I can do that as a swift.
Do you have the problem of having to roll well on a bunch of d20s to get off your best attack? If so, Seren can give you a bit of luck when you ask for it.

GM Valen |

Are we all set on buffs and good to go?
