You--as a gnome yourself--are very aware of the Bleaching; any gnome trapped in a magic circle for as long as Koth'Vaul claims should have succumbed to the Bleaching, with no opportunity for novel experience to keep up interest in life.
The Pathfinders, turning the suspicious minds that seem to be a requirement for the position to Koth'Vaul's words, find what he says to be quite sincere.
However, as Kalkamedes and his his small entourage proceed out of view, the gnome grows visibly frustrated. "I said to help meeeeee!" he calls out in a voice far larger and darker than his body should allow. "Illvaster, rise! Destroy these fools before they free her!"

He rushes toward the circle Kalkamedes is heading for and turns to face in the direction of the creatures coming from the pool with his greataxe ready.

Grigory moves into position as Merida fires off a pair of errant arrows. Challa notices something a little odd about the dragon's movements--while it appears to be a living dragon, there's a jerkiness to its movements that suggest multiple breaks in its bones, which must reduce its battle effectiveness. It seems, in fact, to be a zombie dragon; as such she knows that it can resist most physical damage, though slashing weapons will be as effective as normal, and it has the immunities that you'd expect from most undead creatures.

Yup; vacation hangover lasted an extra day, but I'm back now.
Challa yells out some advice to the Pathfinders and advances towards the melee. Corgrim moves forward and stabs one of the crawling zombified bits of some other strange creature, not quite pinning it to the ground but doing some damage for sure.
Nightkit draws her rapier and tries to move up to defend Kalkamedes, but can't quite find a good path, she darts around in front of Kalkamedes and gets ready to strike when she can. Drawing the rapier was a move action this round, so Nightkit doesn't have enough actions to move another 10' and attack, and her 5' step is cut off by the rope between Kalkamedes and Leon. She'll get to attack next round.
Kalkamedes proves entirely immune to any form of distraction and continues advancing towards the circle in the far alcove.

Are the animated hand arm things attacking us in our squares? It would matter if they were as we would get an AoO when they entered our square (unless some special ability unique to them negated that AoO).

Merida is tempted to shoot at the 'gnome' again, but then she remembers her fighter training - especially the 'tactics and strategy' classes.
How did they put it? "The immediate threat comes first!" Yes, that was it.
She moves (5ft-step) away from the circle to get a better view of the battlefield.
The dragon is a bigger target anyway.

Koth'Vaul seems limited to taunting (at least for now?) given his lack of attacks through two rounds of combat.
Grigory assesses his wounds. Don't think I can take another bite like that last one and stay standing, but I got a good shot in on him. Maybe one more will knock him out before he can get me.
He grits his teeth, tightens his grip on his greataxe and takes another mighty swing at the dragon.

Aaaaargh. Sorry folks, I've been a mess in this game. I promise, I'm not new, but I just can't seem to get things right for you. Yes, the crawling hands--as diminutive creatures--need to enter your space to attack, and would have provoked attacks of opportunity. They also can't make attacks of opportunity, but I had them do that. I'm calling this combat; too many errors from me. If it turned out that you didn't win the combat, there's no way I could stand by that result.
The combined might of the Pathfinders is too much for the zombie dragon and the little crawling appendages it inadvertently animated; you make quick work of the threats outside the circles, and are left with just Koth'Vaul in one circle, and this beautiful unconscious elven woman in the other.
During the combat, you noticed that once Grigory and Kalkamedes were inside the circle with the elven woman, the dragon was no longer able to attack either of them; the circle seems to provide some protection, though neither Grigory nor Kalkamedes are stuck inside the way Koth'Vaul seems to be trapped in his.

Two mistakes isn't really a mess, please don't be that hard on yourself. I do appreciate your attempts to correct things though.
Leon stumbles forward towards Kalkamedes after poking the two hands to make sure they won't come back, "Dat leddeh what Kalky goin aftah? Sly dog, she prettuh."

Kalkamedes is currently kneeling beside the lady. He appears to be trying to administer aid, though he has no resources to do so.

"Worth a shot anyway," Grigory replies to Merida's suggestion. "But if she wakes up an' starts summonin' zombie dragons..."
He uses Leon's wand to attempt to heal the woman laying in the circle.

The woman wakes up after the second charge is expended from the wand. As Grigory applied some healing to the woman in the circle, she stirs. Opening her eyes, she looks startled to see so many gathered around her. "What?" she questions, looking back and forth among you as she scoots backwards. "Who are you; what's going on here?"

The woman studies you all, and then looks on Kalkamedes with affection in her eyes. "Yes, I think I can explain that. Is the demon still in the other circle?"

"Oh, I can assure you he's not that. That's a glabrezu, and a dangerous one at that. His name is Koth'Vaul, and he's been trapped her for a long time, but the circle holding him in is weakening. I was trying to ensure that he'd never get out, but he and his undead dragon got the best of me; I dove into this circle to protect myself at the last minute, but the same thing keeping him in kept me from the best of my own magic. I could no longer heal myself--but also couldn't die." She returns her gaze to Kalkamedes. "This fellow must have heard my call. Sleepwalking, you said? It probably only registered in his subconscious, but he was trying to come to my aid as sure as day, I'd bet. And that brought you here, it seems, and I'm forever grateful for that. Now we can send the demon home for good, and make this corner of the world safe again."
