I feel bad for dipping out but life gets in the way. So long as everyone is ok with it I am happy to stick around as I think things are leveling out and the only other game I am in, which im running, is slow going right not. But 2 games are a comfy number for me.
So if no one minds i can keep playing but if not I completely understand.

I will have to think on that. I’d sorta like to leave him as an NPC working in the temple and on the council to strengthen the town. He has built a nice life there, it would be nice to let him enjoy a bit of it. And has worked to grow his flock of Cauldron Lady worshippers too.
Yes, absolutely, I like that idea. Ibinu will remain on the council as an NPC, naturally.
And I take it, I'm still mad? Other people may need to sing my praises for a little bit while I'm incapacitated...
For now, a bit mad, yes.

I'm in the middle of moving (with my wife and 2 kiddos), and even though we don't have a ton of stuff, it just makes everything a bit more difficult when half your life is in bxoes :)
I think I'm going to take the week off from posting. Never fear, we shall continue! The end of the fight and the beginning of a new page / chapter is a good chance to unwind and take a short break.
I will plan on an update on Sunday 5/15.
In the meantime feel free to plan, etc in Discussion!

Moving is a brutal life change event.
We uprooted and moved a state over two months ago. And are also doing major renovations on the new house while living in it. So... I feel you.
Moved last year and its always hectic. The pause worked since the upstairs bathroom flooded and the ceiling in the downstairs bathroom fell down.
Thankfully ours has been less hectic than that :)
Overall, I'm sleeping on a bed tonight rather than a sleeping bag on the floor, so I'm calling it a win. Expect a post tomorrow morning!

It's a good thing he's been diligent about writing letters to his loved ones before doing stupid things, might be invaluable later...
Whats the source of the voices? And can Kallik understand the one coming from the axe? The axe can speak telepathically with her but she cant speak either language
Samen can speak both languages. They're both Fey related, but I forget the distinction between them.
The source of the 'first' voice is your axe - it sounds exactly like Krz, your brother, who has been with you for months.
The source of the second voice is somewhere in Abnaki's vicinity. It sounds slightly off to your ear, but that could simply be your bias toward the first voice.
And VERY roughly speaking, Creak is "Seelie" court, and Rasp is "Unseelie" court. The equivalent would probably be the Gray's court and the Witch's court.
It's been fun and I think Ibinu's current task is a nice way to cut out. Catch you all later!
GM, when you get a chance, could you 'uncheck' Ibinu from the character section so the game clears off my active campaign section? Thanks!

Sorry a slow week - we finished our last big push on moving, and we needed to get a new (used) car this week, since our old one died. :)
Thanks again for the patience, all -- we finally "locked the door" for the final time and gave over the keys to the old apartment. Feels good.

Suffice to say he is a high-ranking member of the Watch -- these days, he is head of the Temple Watch, the personal guards of the Temple. There was a whole trial and vote we did on it, back in the day. He is a cunning sylph and a member of the Council of Hearth as well.
Hi all! Here are my rough ideas going forward:
--The trouble at the southern border of Forest is likely our next location
--That also gets us closer to Light, which could arguably be the "final boss battle" (all of which is months down the line at the very least)
----->So in the meantime, I'm having fun expositing with Dove as long as you guys have questions for him. Next, we should figure out where we are going and how.
Reasonable? You can also discuss "in character" this week if you'd like.

--Gabe - are you going to try and find the white-scarred one again? Or something completely different?

Kallik is going to want to figure out why there are 2 Krz's, where the Fey went, what that dream meant. Things are different than from when she left for the moon so she, and me, are still catching up and trying to figure out what all is going on
1) The dream is pretty straight forward -- Obdurate (the elemental being that "belongs" to one of Samen's cousins) is in trouble to the north, at the very southern border of Forest (the Runts)
2) You can investigate the Fey disapperance while you are at the Tree,
3) Which I think will help explain Krz too (but we shall see)
Gabriel isnt actually, things present like the southern border. Gabriel is content believing the white scarred ones arent a threat presently

Gabriel, before you leave town you get a brief message from Captain Dove, congratulating you on the delivery of the riddles, etc. His intelligence network is obviously quite extensive.
He also gives you a ring of feather falling, and some wordplay concerning 'leaping off metaphorical cliffs before looking' in the future.

Oh certainly not :) Out of character, I paid market price for that hat, t keep loot balanced, and in character Abnaki can certainly be justified for forgetting, given the last 24 hours.
