Danibas |
Danibas looks down at the unconscious one he had hit, "This guy's out for a bit, but seems fine. He gets back up I'll knock him down again.". Looking over towards the other fallen man he asks, "That one gonna die? I got some rope around here somewhere but the sorcress says that cloth will fix them."
He smiles and snacks a fist to palm.
"Then again I could go for round two, that was fun."
Primwell Merimohr |
"Of course, love," Primwell responds as the Half-Orc suggests she might have the prettier party face.
Walking up to the closet, she offers up a quick prayer to Sheyln for guidance and then gently calls out, "My loves, you're safe now. We've dealt with those who might harm you and are trying to break the hold the magic has over them. Please come out so we can make sure you're not hurt or tend to your wounds if you are."
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 6 + 1 = 26
Kalak Sunrunner |
Kalak leans against a counter with Drogath, Better to let her talk anyway... What does the paper say we need to do to fix them? I knew it was a problem with the spirits they brought back with them....
Leowarin |
Leo stays near the door to watch for anything from the other room. "I don't have any rope but I do have sting if you need to tie them up," he says. "What do we need to do to reverse this, Magellia?" he asks, interested in the find. "I'd like a chance to see that cloth later."
Magellia |
Magellia hands the cloth over as she examines the fallen men and tries to work out what needs to be to done to restore their faculties.
GM Garmon |
They have not died, they have only become unconscious when they regain some sense and see their bloody hands wondering "what has happened to us, I only remember a strange blue mist and suddenly how I lost my mind.
At that moment, while Primwell speaks from the other side of the door, you hear how a lock opens and an obese-looking scribe comes out from the bottom, who when he sees his companions begins to tremble and shout " get them away from me, they dismembered Millgen as if they were wild monkeys"
"Nigel was taking stock of thepieces in storage in the East Exhibit storage room, i hope nigel is fine"
Saldak is fairly certain the Tik Taan idols are responsible for the museum’s current predicament, claiming “I smelled something wrong with those hideous monkey-faced things as soon as Lugizar brought them out
of his pack. I’ve a nose for trouble, I do! No one listens!”
Well now what do you want to do?
Danibas |
Danibas shrugs and follows the Ifrit.
"Still gettin' warmed up today anyway."
Primwell Merimohr |
"Their madness has passed now, love," Primwell says to the scribe. "Stay here, be safe, take care of one another, and we'll head off to rescue Nigel. You were so brave to help us, love," and she steps up on her toes to give the scribe a quick kiss on the cheek before turning to follow her party out to rescue Nigel.
Kalak Sunrunner |
Kalak goes immediately with Fyl, nervous about angering the spirits so obviously ripped into this place from their homelands. Do the people of this museum not know that they bring this upon themselves? By bringing the totem spirits from all these lands they upset the dream, and this will cause the spirits to act erratically, like a man drunk on too much bad wine...
The Shoanti hefts his earthbreaker and follows Fyl by a half step.
Danibas |
Walking along with Kalak Danibas chuckles, "They don't care. Folks like this seem to think they can have all the stuff, as long as they put it on display, no matter the concequences. Progress they say, or some nonsense."
Drogath Varyn |
Theres a lot thats not known out there. Its not a bad thing they do here, studying the unknown. Though the outcomes are not always good for those doing the studying... Well, either way were off to this storage room. According to the map we'll be traversing through the beasts of legend exhibit. I'm sure there will be more fun waiting for us in there so everyone be on your guard for a fight.
Drogath will step up with Fyl and lead the way to the exhibit
Leowarin |
Leo puts his bow away as they continue their search for Nigel. "I do agree that these powerful artifacts need to be handled carefully. It's possible that Nigel didn't fully understand what he bought or maybe things progressed faster than expected," he says, glancing over the displays as they walk. "I do wish I was here under different circumstances. No time to take in all this information," he thinks to himself.
Danibas |
Danibas brightens at the thought of fighting greatythic beasts, even if only as reanimated bones or stuffed facimilies (though Danibas himself has no clue what word means ;P) and gains a bit more spring in his step as they walk, though he remains silent for the time being.
Primwell Merimohr |
As they walk, Primwell tries to listen past the sounds of her loves chatting to see if there's any sound of struggle, movement, etc. that may give some indication if something animated is out there.
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
Primwell would be walking in the middle of the group, but no one has moved on the map yet, so I'm not sure where we'd be at this point, hence didn't move her. Whenever someone who is walking in the lead moves their token, feel free to put Prim behind you and she'll guidance you.
GM Garmon |
"A large placard above the entryway to this hall reads “Hunting
the Beasts of Legend” in great block letters. This gigantic
chamber is relatively free of mist, and darkness is held at bay by
braziers of radiant light. Behemoths occupy these halls, great
taxidermy nightmares such as a two-headed bear easily taller
than an ogre; a great desiccated beetle, its carapace larger than
the face of the clock tower of Absalom’s Clockwork Cathedral;
a massive specimen of chimera, its jaws open in a mock roar;
and an assembled skeleton of a tyrant lizard. The walls here
are studded with strange masks, staves, spears, and other
implements of long forgotten cultures, most likely used in ritual
hunts of the beasts preserved here."
you can move
Kalak Sunrunner |
Kalak stares up in wonder at the remnants of the great beasts, and lets out a low whistle, Truly, the warriors who hunted these magnificent beasts have great honor. There is much to be said for their prowess, and the beasts are amazing.
He adjusts the earthbreaker on his shoulder, and crosses to the first door.
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Danibas |
"Wow." is all Danibas can muster as he walks through this room wide eyed at the mounted monsters filling the room, the various interesting weapons almost an afterthought.
Primwell Merimohr |
Primwell positions herself where she can see both of the brawny protectors in the room with her and again listens for sounds of movement.
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
GM Garmon |
When Danibas crosses the middle of the room he hears a noise of broken stones watching as gargoyles come to life and begin to fly over the ceiling while emitting heart-rending cries.

"So who wants to bet which display item gets up next?" Fyl asks sardonically.
Leowarin |
"Wow these creatures are amazing. I hope the mist isn't powerful enough to bring any of them to life," Leo says as he follows the others into the room
Fort save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Leo freezes in fear.
Kalak Sunrunner |
Kalamazoo grits his teeth against the fear from the flying creatures, Won’t you come down and say hello? as he nocks another arrow and fires it.

Fyl Imal |
Derp. Not sure if this is paralyzed - not able to do anything or horror paralyzed where you can add some drooling and mumbling for fun. Either way, it’s just fluff so no need to let Fyl slow down the next 5 rounds.
GM Garmon |
Those of you who have not passed the test have been horrified by the scream that emanates from his voice, in any case be safe if he tries to attack you the effect is canceled. Anyway I find it a bit gore to put two cr2 mobs in a module for lvl1 I do not see the adjustment very proportionate.
the other monster starts screaming those of you who failed the other roll make another check
