Sylvester exclaims as Akter is compelled to eat rotten human flesh.

"Now that is what I call compulsion magic!"

The little man blushes a bit in shame as he geeks out over the powerful enchantments. He regains his senses and rushes over to help Ledt wake up by kicking him.

"Wake up."

"Aaaah!" Seeing the odds quickly turn against her, and with her allies doing their best to beat a retreat, Iladora does the same back toward the doorway.

Bertha stands firm, letting Iladora pass her by. Luckily she isn't witnessing what is going on in the room behind her.

I am not sure how I missed so many posts, but if Bertha could have steped forward before and let Iladora get behind her instead, she would have.

Seeing the frenzy, she attempts to cast a spell to calm things down. Casting Calm Animals on the swarm.

Akter awakens with a mouth full of rotten flesh; he remembers walking over, and he remembers taking the bite, but he is completely confused as to why he did any of those things. Akter, yes; you now have your full round of actions available.

Ledt falls to the ground, asleep beyond reason, but Sylvester quickly rushes over and delivers a swift kick into the side of the sleeping gnome, waking Ledt up immediately. Ledt lost his actions this round to the sleep, and starts the next round prone.

Iladora resists the poison that slowly seeps into her body as the multitude of creatures work on slowly draining her of blood; she instinctively begins to flee, but seems to have forgotten the much larger creature that has a furious grip on her calf--there must be some kind of numbing compound in the creatures saliva to have so quickly forgotten that! Though the creature's grip is fierce, it also has little traction in the water, so Iladora ends up fleeing with the creature still hanging limply from her leg as it continues to drain her of blood. I had a whole post written where Iladora couldn't escape the water because of the grapple from the creature, and then realized--when creating the links for Bertha below--that the attach special ability only grapples the attacker; the target isn't grappled (though still needs to make a grapple or escape artist check to remove the attacker). This little detail isn't mentioned in the actual monster entry, you have to read the attach entry in Universal Monster Rules to find that out. Wait, did somebody say this game was complicated?

Bertha steps forward, making room for Iladora, and when the ranger emerges from the water, Bertha realizes what they are facing: a giant leech and its many, many young. Giant leeches automatically attach with a successful attack, and then blood drain each round that they are attached; Bertha also knows that they are vermin with no Int score, not animals, and thus aren't subject to a calm animals spell. I've moved Bertha forward the 5' requested and am counting that as happening last round; she still has a full round of actions remaining.

I should have made this more clear: the eating of the flesh is just flavor (ha!); it has no in-game effect. (I played this scenario with a group that plays together continuously; my sorcerer is still the butt of cannibalism jokes from the rest of the party now, many scenarios later.) You don't need to do anything; it's just gross. If we want to formalize it in rules-speak you can spit it out as a free action; you still have your full round of actions available.

The halfling readies an action, if the corridor gets clean of allies, he casts electrical burning hands on the leeches.

The no-PVP rule for PFS requires permission to damage other Pathfinders. Iladora and Bertha, if you don't vacate the hallway with your action, please state whether you agree to be damaged by Ledt's spell if the swarm moves into his space.

You can tell that they are being damaged by Ledt's electric hands (they just seem to keep making saving throws for half damage), and you know that swarms of diminutive creatures like this are completely immune to weapon damage.

The swarm continues to churn the water near the stairs, but does not leave the water to move towards you.

You can cast also Xusius from the corner on top of Ledt current position. I have drawn an example burning hands template for you to see how you can place it to make it work

The halfling focuses his energy, this time with a lot of rage from the burns on his skin, his hair crackles in electricity that sprawls all over his arms that he links to unleash a brutal shower of lightning through the corridor and over the leeches.

Ledt's electric hands spell finally seems to land with full force; the baby leeches twitch and the water froths even harder followed by many of them floating away, stiff on the surface of the water. But enough of them remain to still be a threat.

Xusius follows Ledt's electricity up with a similar blast of fire, but the flames don't penetrate the surface of the water, barely singing the few leeches at the surface at the moment the flames blast over them. (Failed caster level check to have fire-based spell effective underwater)

The leeches remain in the water, undeterred but still not coming up onto the hard stone of the corridor.

I need someone to move a token here (if you can't move your token, a description of the movement--i.e. X squares south, Y squares east--will totally work), and I need Ledt at least to chime in on how he's getting through the water. Sylvester is getting carried by Bertha; Ledt is also small sized so needs to be carried or make Swim checks. If there's anything you'd like to do other than just trudge through the muck (heal? Iladora's ability damage?), now is the time to speak up.
