After listening to their allies, Crunch thinks they have a better grasp on the kobolds' tactics. They move into the other room and into the corner. They raise their shield and stick it out into the opening, but quickly pull it back before they lose their arm.

Huh. Interesting. I can't find any explicit rules that deal with this, so I'm using my discretion. Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong about this. I'm going to say it's Deception, since you're trying to get them to think you're stepping out.

I can animate Zombie or Skeleton with resistant 5 piercing and slashing, but 4 HP :D

I believe Orange and Green now see enough of Looni to trigger their readied actions. Orange takes a cover penalty because he can't fully see Looni. Green takes a greater cover penalty because he's shooting through Orange.

Anjo, I picked your hunted prey non-randomly (red is the first color of the rainbow) and then I placed the icons non-randomly (top left to bottom right). In retrospect, this means the one I picked for you was always going to end up in the top left, and that wasn't my intention. I should have just rolled randomly for you (or rolled randomly to place them). I'll do that now and que sera, sera (you may end up with a backrow prey and take a cover penalty, or overlap with Finn). Finn's actions stand.

They attempt to bring their hammer up into the newly-arrived enemy's head, but their lingering surprise makes the blow come too slow.
Chagrined at having sprung the trap, they raise their shield and bark at the thing in the hope of keeping its attention on them.

Apologies for the delay. Needed to update the map and I can't do that from my phone.

Xun and Anjo peer out, and they see a second set of summoning runes marked by green squares. The more visible runes appear to be decoys - they are actually the safest squares to walk on.

Orange and Green shuffle around the corner. They're making some sort of preparation, but haven't shown themselves.
