There's no fooling Oddman or Altorin, and these guys are about as honest as sunset on Verces. There's definitely no scientists around. Blinky and Hellik both notice that one of the guard briefly talks into a communicator. Also, by the look of these guy's guns, they are not LARPing.

They don't seem to notice any suspicion - with a bluff check you might get the jump of them (which allows you to choose your position on the map)

Ceolor looks between Oddman, Blinky and Fexia and the heated words that are flying back and forth. He gives a small sigh and then looks at everyone. "I was wanting to stay neutral in this, as there are things we can't directly assume going on here. First, I'd like to posit that we are not a good judge of what is technologically advanced or not for an entire alien species. Fexia seems to think they are highly specialized, which i might agree to but any standards we do judge them by would be based on the standards of the Pact Worlds and Veskarium. This species belongs to neither and thus it is extremely egocentric to assume we can judge their capabilities and blame them for it. Unless they openly claim that they were hiding or intentionally not using better equipment or materials we can't assume they were."

Ceolor takes a deep breath and then continues, "But if we do assume they were intentionally hiding and living in 'worse' (again we are not in a position to say what is better or worse) conditions than they could be and lied to us, they are not the only ones. The complex up there has also lied to us and is causing a disturbance to the surroundings. I agree with Blinky here that we did not present the best face we could to the people at the complex, and that we are sneaking back in looks even worse. I will not partake in nor abide to 'gank the lot and leave their labs a burning hulk.' Personally, I feel that we need to get both parties to sit down and talk with each other, but I doubt both would agree to it. But seeing as the izalguun have what we need to find, and aren't currently causing any environmental problems we might as well visit the labs and talk."

The guards seem to think the group is falling for their trap, Yeah, move a little closer one says.

Then he turns on his Jetpack and flies on the top of the wall.

Blinky being already about the height of two short men finds it easy enough using his natural climbing ability and incredible land speed (twice that of a regular height man) and get up in the face of another guard.

She begins to make her way up the walls to begin... negotiations.

I'm assuming there is a metal segment somewhere to use my magboots on. I'm figuring that between my turn and surprise round I can turn on my magboots, find a good place to climb, and ascend. If the walls are completely nonmetallic, you can get rid of the +5 bonus below.

Ceolor sets himself up in a great spot to shot from and forms his weapon, as he starts a solar furnace in his eyes and down to the newly formed weapon in his arms. "We need into the compound and we don't want to be walking into your pitifully obvious trap. Now we can do this easily where you give up your weapons and comms otlr blinky and fexia there will give you both a good beating. What do you want to do?"

Swift to call his weapon move to activate plasma sheath.

Fexia tries to close the vertical gap between the guards and the group, moving up the metal perimeter. Blinky gets up there as well, and is ready knock one of the guards in the teeth.

Hellih joins the fray of moving into a move advantageous position. Ceolor activates a plasma sheath, while Oddman gets ready to do some scaling himself.

The guards, suddenly facing numerous foes on their walls, go into all-out attack. The most immediate - and largest! - threat seems to be blinky, who is narrowly misses by a taclash. The other guard seems to be firing at Blinky as well, though the shot is so far off that it's hard to tell.

Hellih quickly changes some settings on his custom rig. Seeing how the enemies are armored he adjusts his laser rifle to break through it more easily.

His rifle begins to hum in a distinct tone. His artificial arm holds the rifle as the Android takes aim. His artificial eyes focus on the shape of the enemy seeing Fexia in the background. He does not envy this guard when Formian will get to him. He pulls the trigger.

Hellih adjusts his aim, and hits the guard with a lot of oomph. Which is exactly the sound the guard makes.

Blinky evades all the shots, then composes himself and distracts his enemy with a koality distraction, then smacking the guard properly.

Oddman takes on the lats guard, piercing the gunman from up close.

Ceolor lashes out with a plasma flare, but misses his mark. Fexia fares a lot better, and neuro-lashes the poor guard, who goes down in a fit of neuro-motoric pain.

Surprise round: before combat starts, Altorin is placed near the wall, between guards red and blue. He uses a move action to jetpack all the way up there, flanking with Oddman and Blinky.

Altorin closes the gap, and unleashes a lashing on the guard, just barely missing the first, and taking out the second one.

The last guard looks cornered, and lashes at Blinky again with his taclash.

Hellih almost jumps when he hears the words from Farvenzi.

"This is the last station? What are we on the metro?" asks in his steady voice

"Your guards attacked us! We were simply defending ourselves!" says as he turns on his jetpack and flies further away on the wall. He is not built to stand in the heat of combat, and his energy shield does not aid him sufficiently.

As he lands on the new portion of wall he turns around and takes aim at dragonkin. He breathes out as he readies for the shot if Farvenzi acts hostile.

Altorin focuses his anger on the other ryphorian in the area, and hurts the prefrontal cortex of his opponent. Ceolor lashes out with flaming tongues, hurting the ryphorian with a second burst of plasma, while Oddman closes the gap.

fexia tries to startle the taciturn ryphorian, but doesn't manage to shake him up. The hellknight's attack hits the rocks Spinjack is hiding behind. Blinky takes a far more pragmatic approach to the hiding ryphorian, dealing two rather destructive blows. It's only because Hellih misses that Spinjack is still up.
