Faction: Horizen Hunters

I am, but it was also the 12th here when I posted and I still hadn't heard back from Tyranius on what timezone was the official "12th", since it was missing from the megathread.

Hi, this is Dreadfang!’s player. I just realized that I signed up for two events with the same character. Is it okay if I swap him with this one?

Hello, all! I'm here to pick up this game. Doesn't look as if anyone's dotted in, so could anyone who sees this confirm? That way I know who to PM, and we can get things started and keep up with the rest of Gameday.

![]() |

Ah, looks like it only got set up late yesterday. I'll PM anyone who hasn't yet responded or dotted in by this afternoon, to keep things on track.
Of course the switch works, no worries!

Awesome! Thanks so much!

Slot Boons:
Engraved Wayfinder (Slotless)
Will buy a wayfinder (all factions reputation) costing 2 fame.
Upgrade it to a Rugged Wayfinder from Horizon Hunters reputation costing 2 fame. Please mark this on my cert, if all goes well. ;-)

Boons:
Faction Vigilant Seal Champion
Advanced Narsen’s Web (+1 circumstance to Sense Motive vs disguised or masked people)
Generic 1 Big Game Hunter (I really can't see myself using this, but hey, I've got a spare slot)
Generic 2 Adversary Lore (beast) (+1 circumstance to Recall Knowledge creatures with that trait) (Technically haven’t purchased this, but I would like to prior to the official start of the scenario, if the GM will allow)
Generic 3
Scenario Consumable Scroll of Burning Hands

Faction: Grand Archive Champion
Swords Items: Potency Crystal and Minor Healing Potion.

![]() |

Forgot the items, Lesser Antidote and Lesser Antiplague

![]() |

Yes! In combat, it'd be one action to Command an Animal. Otherwise there shouldn't be much trouble.

![]() |

Yeah, that's all. You were just shy of getting to do it twice!

![]() |

Cecic has the spell Tidal Surge, which says targets a creature, but I'll let you the GM decide if it could move the log a little way?

![]() |

You can attempt to Long Jump over with Athletics. Just walking through would pretty much immediately expose you to its effects, even partially filled. You could make an Acrobatics roll to soften that slightly. Alternatively, the woods on either side are just difficult terrain.

![]() |

Looks as if, considering no one's debating it. Sorry, I can't even say Paizo ate my post, I just had it done in my head and thought that translated to the site.

I copy/pasted the map so that both templates are now part of it. A little shoddy, but it should work, please let me know if you'd like me to touch it up further.
Also, this fight has a penchant for being extremely annoying. I've run and played it once each before. Are you sure you want to sneak? From what little clarification I've gotten, I think the movement penalties here stack pretty hard. So even when you make the Entangle save, you'd be halving your speed twice, and in difficult terrain.

Good point. I’ll Stride instead, and get sneaky when I’m in the woods and not penalized. Thanks!

Would I need to make an Athletics check to stand up?
Yeah, do we need to make a check with any move action or just Strides?
EDIT: Didn’t mean to hijack Marigold’s question;, just to phrase it differently.

![]() |

Oh, my. I didn't even think of that, but it doesn't look like it applies to all move-trait actions. Just Stride, Step, and the ones corresponding to other movement types. (Steps will only work if you critically succeed on your Athletics check, though.) Sorry.

Yes, unless you were a wildwood halfling or similar (but you're an aasimar).

Barring anything else you have to say or do, that's the game! I'll try to have Chronicles out in the next day or two. Maybe a little longer to report the scenario, I've already run it so I want to ask the higher-ups if there's anything special I need to do there.
If everyone could roll to Earn Income, or anything else you'd like to do during your Downtime?

Legal Lore: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Zourn sticks around for a bit to help file any paperwork for custody of the items, poorly.

Good game. Thank you!
Marigold finds a corner in the temple district, and plays her harp for the passersby, taking requests for favorite hymns.
Performance: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24

![]() |

Thanks everyone, a really fun game.
Cecic will help Zarta scribing documents of shipments into the vault from this and other expeditions.
Scribing Lore 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

Thassilonian History Lore: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14 So 0.4 gp.
Honestly, it was a nice little encounter romp. I wish that final fight wasn't so ridiculous, though.
