Hi all, we're still 2 weeks out from start of GameDay.

If you haven't already go ahead and dot in. I won't be posting any scenario text until around 12:01am GMT 9/1.

If you're new to Play by Post then one of the online VO's, GM Numbat, prepared a helpful set of slides located here: Org Play Play-by-post Intro.

Of course, if you have any questions or need help getting set-up then feel free to ask either here, via private messages, or discord (redeux#9667).

Any way to get paizo to send me email notifications for posts in this thread?

Unfortunately not. My best advice is to find your campaign page and bookmark that. Then have a time of day you check the page. For instance I tend to check my games first thing in the morning and then when I'm running I check them throughout the day (particularly during combat). As long as you're checking the game every 24 hours it won't be an issue.

You can set up an If-this-then-that (IFTTT.com) to get an email notification of updates. Use the thread's URL as a "feed URL". That's the only way I've found to do so.

No lie, I play "Lando the Lost Satyr Bard" in a LARP that I used to play. The resemblance to your "Lando" is both haunting and refreshing! LoL

That's kind of amazing! What a coincidence. She's been very fun to play.

Just saw the marching order, currently Drakmak my wizard is in the front, which isn't where he'd like to be.

I'd suggest Harik Stormforge and Koraldur Shaltier are at the front, with Koraldur at the front when in single file.

Drakmak and Landitho in the middle, with Aurelius Lux and The Chill at the back.

That sounds wise, my Bard has reach with his Glaive and can provide combat support/spells as needed if one away from the front or back.

Updated the Marching order. If anyone doesn't like it feel free to slap my hand, call me naughty, and change as you like!

I'd recommend Chill sit in the back/middle so I can bolster them as needed for the rear/middle and I can provide reach attacks for melee support.

I have no Boons, but my 3 points in Swords Training I'd like to grab the Potion of Minor Healing and Potency Crystal? Am I doing that right?

Spend 1 Fame for Wayfinder and use the boon Engraved Wayfinder.

Note that the Wayfinder boon is 2 fame. I'll assume that's still OK but let me know if not, i've marked it on the muster sheet so i remember for chronicles.

@everyone - speaking of muster sheet, now that we've begun you should have an idea of what your starting faction/gold/xp/fame are. Please take the time to update the muster sheet. Note that if the starting rep/gold/xp/fame values are provided to me, I will fully fill out your chronicle at the end of the scenario. If you leave something like starting gold off then I'll assume you know what you're doing and are OK filling out those areas of your chronicle. And as always, if you'd like help I'm more than happy to assist.

@The Chill and Landitho Have you used your Academic Conference for GA tier 1 yet? It is a slotless boon so as long as you haven't used it at tier 1 yet you could get it. Just let me know and i'll put it down.

Oh yes, 2 fame for a wayfinder is fine by me. I haven't used Academic Conference boon yet so will purchase it.

Only the boon is Envoy Alliance Champion.

3 points spell school: consumables 1 x minor healing potion, 1 x lesser antidote

Updated my muster sheet with the 7 gold 7 silver (now -1 silver due to RP) or "7.7" as written. Let me know if I am missing anything else!

When you have a moment can you go to pathbuilder and export your character build to a PDF. Then upload that to google drive/something and put that link in your character profile? The pathbuilder link you have cant be accessed from other devices unfortunately. Otherwise I'm happy to do some botting when life takes priority

Awesome, going to try to keep up but I will be on my honeymoon starting sunday for a week so if I fall behind im sorry in advance. But ill have alot of down time so I should be able to keep up so long aa my network holds up in Tennessee.

Sounds good. In general as long as you check once per day you'll be fine, I've only been advancing the plot every 24 hours so everyone has time to respond

Saves are all super high, while the Deceptions are all consistently low (Even with a hero point!)... dice roller tryin to be funny.

hey all, will be a bit behind posting today. was travelling yesterday and today had a 6 hour plaguestone session this morning in my normal weekend free-time. will try to update tonight or first thing tomorrow

I keep seeing this referrence of Treasure Bundles, can you elaborate on what that is please? I'm not entirely familiar with the term and having trouble finding it in the ROP. Thanks in advance!

GM Basics - Treasure Bundles

Yeah that's it but you shouldn't have to worry about all of that.

The basics of treasure bundles is that each scenario there are 10 to obtain. You get gold at the end of scenario based on your level and how many treasure buddies you acquired. I know some players get anxious in scenarios where there is no obvious loot to find so i generally let my tables know when treasure bundles are earned.

So for example a player who is level one gets 1.4gp per treasure bundle. If you earn all 10 treasure bundles then as a level 1 character you'd have 14gp rewarded at end of scenario.

as an fyi running the tier 7-8 special tonight so likely won't be able to post again until tomorrow morning 22-26 hours from now (mentioning this since normally try to check more than once a day when in combat)

We're near the conclusion of our scenario so we will start doing downtime now. Basically you get 8 days after a scenario to earn income, craft items, retrain, or other things that a feat might let you do. If you're level 1 you can rebuild for free so you don't need to think about retraining during downtime.

In general most people do Earn Income, and you can use any Lore skill, Performance, or Crafting. So if that's what you'd like to do then go ahead and give me a roll.

If there's something else you want to do, or you have something special when earning income let me know.

And if anyone has any questions on downtime, let me know, I'm happy to answer questions but didn't want to info overload anyone with this message.

TLDR: Need downtime activities from everyone. In general i suggest earn income so give me a roll for any lore skill, performance, or crafting.

So that nat1's on earn income is a crit fail and no money earned! Ouch! But at the same time earn income is a very small portion of the money you make so don't sweat it.

HERE ARE YOUR CHRONICLES. Please download yours and keep a copy. I personally put mine in google drive folder so I know where they are and they're always available if i need to reference them.

This was my first pbp. Already signed up for another one with my Level 4 Sorcerer. This was a fun way to play. It flet mush easier to RP then in person or VTT.

Redeux, great job in keeping us on task and informed of what is going on. I will plan to keep doing this. It gets me my pathfinder fix.

That's partially my bad, i see you put that up in the boons slotted. And truthfully i just made that same mistake on my shadow sorcerer LOL. Give me a few minutes to fix it and re-upload!
