The Muckfur village is still the same. The soil is still smoldering along. As the gnolls told you, this is owing to the fact that the underground vegetable mass hasn't been watered properly, and has now dried out to become underground fuel.

The other yetis just seems to be amused that the chief is fighting, but feel no need to participate. Modern Body moves up to the yeti, while Lexicor summon a sticky goop to cover the floor - quite different from the peaty soil! Inix keep shis balance though, looking only more annoyed.

Buse takes a moment to patch up the fallen leader, a gesture that draws great respect from the Muckfurs. Inix' life is saved, though it will take him a while to recover from his injuries.

Back at the site of the temple, an entrance has now appeared in structure, leading to a circular room. Compared to the dim light outside, the interior of the room is quite bright. The source of the illumination is a clear central pillar approximately 10 feet in diameter, which pulses with a continuous series of bright bursts of blue light that travel up and down the interior. Around the perimeter of the chamber, numerous terminals and instruments are embedded in the white walls and provide readouts on a range of information both biological and technological.

As Modern Body watches the monitors, there is no indication of any increased power reading, nor any sign of an active program related to sterilization protocols. Strange.

Modern Body, Asier and Lexicor try their best to get through the computer's security system, but so far there's no even a sign of a process running - it might be on a different network. Asier does manage to change the name of 'Yetis' into 'Modern Bodyees'.

Hermena notices, however, that the deep, ominous hum is being produced by a speaker system.

The hum raises in pitch, becoming slightly uncomfortable, and a bright light in the center of the room quickens in pulse and becomes brighter...

Combining Kai’s advanced diasporan rifle with my supercharge weapon spells (Edit: And Asier's overcharge!) we can probably do a number on the computer or even the doors/walls, but it seems obvious this is the last part of the experiment: the dominant tribe would go in the temple and the remaining groups outside would be euthanized…

He takes a moment to consider the ramifications of the frequency and, with a moment to extrapolate the rate at which it is growing, future frequencies to the biological Bodyees in the room as well as his mechanical components.
