GM Mauve's PFS First Steps - Part 1: In Service to Lore (Inactive)

Hey all! Giving GM'ing a try for the first time. Decide to try GM'ing First Steps—Part I: In Service to Lore. This is an Evergreen scenario for level 1 characters, meaning you can play it once per character.

As this is my first time GM'ing via PbP, feel free to give me any tips or tricks. I will try to post at least once per day.

Will leave up recruitment till Friday or until I get a solid team of Pathfinders! This is a great opportunity for those new to PFS or PbP, but open to veterans as well.

I would like to play with my bolt ace.

I’m a moderately experienced PbP player and GM, happy to help with the PbP experience.

@ GM Mauve I am interested in this. I am an experienced player (PFS) and by PbP.
A few questions:
If this will be PFS; would you be opposed to players that have already played PFS (although been a long time for Seasons 0-1)?
Also, if this group that plays this Scenario gels well together (and you are open to it); would you consider making this more than a 1 shot? Perhaps, grouping Scenarios for a mini-campaign?

I'd love to get in on this and I know Andrelis Lethian was also looking for a low-level game, if you could save him a spot. I'll go PM him right now.
And I'll be bringing a Half-Orc, scropion whip wielding magus.

I have played PBP for many years. I would like to play my Arcanist if you don't mind and there is room. He has only played The Confirmation so far.

I'd love to join, I've got a few characters in the wings so I'll wait to declare until after we have the rest of the group sorted out.

I am more than interested in trying this out, Vanilla Witch here!

@Dorian - This is for PFS, yeah. As long as your character hasn't played this scenario before and is still level one, you are more than welcome to play.

May be talked in to doing other Evergreen scenarios - The Wounded Wisp and the Confirmation - or other low tier scenarios.

Looks like we have a lot of interest in this game! May start sooner rather than later.

I count 6 already, but since I have played it already I am willing to bow out for someone that is new/hasn't played it.

As I have played most PFS, I shall also bow out in favor of those that have not had the opportunity.

Is this scenario Mounted Unit-friendly? (Not that Yuzu’s useless off the horse!) I pointed Xeno in the direction of the boards and was hoping to be around to hold their hand if needed. (Of course, my experience around here is that everyone is happy to help anyway!)

This definitely filled up faster than I thought! May give it another few hours to see if theres any more interest.

Gotcha. I’m happy to stick around regardless, but I’ll want to shuffle my inventory to see what I’m either leaving behind or asking the party packmule to carry ;D

GM Mauve, have you used PFS Prep before?

First Steps is here. I didn't click on the links, as I'd like to play, so I can't vouch for how useful they will be but it's always worth taking a look.

After looking at the comp it looks like we need utility and divine casting so I think I’m gonna put my first XP on a new medium. I’ll have the sheet up by the end of the day (transferring it from irl).

Gareleth was the only healer in our last group with a wand of infernal healing, so don't feel obligated to make a character who significantly healing-focused if you don't want to.

oh, This medium I've had built up for a while and isn't wholely healing focused, he actually got my GM boon to be an Vishkanya(all mediums can switch between different spirits one of which is a Cleric-esqe sprint)

My arcanist has a new CLW wand with his first 2PP. His UMD is only +4 but he can try until he rolls a Natural 1.

Provided there is room. Is the new 6 person limit only 2E?
