Beryl quickly throws a fast-acting alchemical coagulant mixed with a potent life-elixir on Bertrum's wounds.

◆ Battle Medicine

She's using her once-per-day ability to use battle medicine on someone who's temporarily immune, and going for the DC 20. This will provoke if she has AoOs. Also note Bertrum that this doesn't remove the wounded condition

Crafting DC 20: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28
healing: 2d8 + 10 ⇒ (8, 6) + 10 = 24

Looking down at Bertrum she realises that she needs to do something to distract this hobgoblin, so she starts reloading her crossbow

◆ Reload with final poisoned bolt

Crossbow, item: 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 8 + 1 = 27
Piercing: 1d8 ⇒ 7
DC 18 Fort save against the black adder venom poison, stage 1 is 1d8 poison damage

EDIT: I realised I don't quite have the actions to do the above as I'd needed to have release the crossbow in order to do the battle medicine. Would it be ok to retcon and say I did it in the other order with a free action release after the strike?

Sure thing. You can swap the actions around. I don't see a problem with that

Thinking quickly Beryl shoots a quick arrow at the hobgoblin. Which actually brings her down. Knocking her to the ground. Then quickly running over and patching up Bertrum. Who regains his awareness.

Bertrum. You do not go Negative HP. So you went to zero. Moved init and went to dying 1. Then where healed up again. You are still wounded 1, but you have 24 hitpoints (so down 14 from total). You have also shifted in init a little.

Enara is not feeling well. I will bot her tomorrow if needed. Want to give her a bit of time if she feels better. Fingers crossed its just a short illness and not covid. Public Service Announcement do anyone: Get your Vaccines if you haven't already!

Stuck over the edge, with a hand on the edge, she tries to pull her self up as far as she can up the edge.

Get up, Move, then 'Pole vault'...if that even works? I don't really have very many other options here. Another good hit on any of us and I think we're toast. These guys dish out way too much damage, and have too many hit points, and have the best defensible position they can get: We're screwed.

Beryl starts making her way up the ladder, but its slow going.

So I made a mistake and the grey Half orc was killed last round by Phai. So only the top green one and the blue to the south are here still. And blue looks nervous. Feel free to adjust your actions Bertrum. You can save that 15 roll for whatever you end up using.
