Raised in bondage in Kintargo by her tiefling mother Nerea, Enara loves her home but hates the devils who ruled it. A clever and mischievous child, she quickly developed a knack for getting herself into trouble, relying on a combination of her wits and nimble moves to get herself out of it. Her Calistrian mother saw and encouraged these traits and soon Enara developed into a master of deduction, investigation and, when circumstances required it, the "liberation" of sensitive information.
The coming of Barzillai Thrune and the Night of Ashes turned her life upside down, starting with the disappearance of her mother. Coming home one night, Enara found agents of Thrune waiting outside, presumably for her. Hating herself for it, but knowing there was little she could do, Enara snuck away and hoped her mother had escaped. Unfortunately, when it was safe to return, the home was completely ransacked and there was no sign of Nerea anywhere.
During the rebellion, Enara worked with other ex-slaves as part of the Silver Ravens' information network, but saw no direct involvement in the fighting. Afterwards, as the dust settled on their new nation, Enara continued trying to find out what had happened to her mother, to no avail. Enara felt unable to remain in the city that had cost her so much and so she set out into the world to forge a new destiny for herself. She finds herself in Breachill following up on a rumor she'd heard about a treasure hidden within the depths of Citadel Altaerin, one that could change the life of anyone who finds it.
