This is the discussion thread for #1-06: A Night in Nightarch (Tier 3-6). Feel free to pop in and say hello if you're part of the game!

Dire's PbP "Table Rules" -

0 - RL > Game. No other rules trump rule 0! :D

1 - I'd like it if everyone posted once a day Mon-Fri. Friday night through Sunday night is eh-whatever (I am in US Eastern Time, for reference). I'll try to post when I can over weekends, but I know people have lives and won't always be online, so no worries.

2 - If you don't post in the middle of an "action" scene for a day, you get skipped once (or botted if your action would be super obvious or you leave a note to me or another player "proxying" your character). If you don't post a second time, you get "botted" by me to do something simple (usually just attack or aid another). If we get into the 3-5 range, I'll probably drop you a line off-list to see what's up. If it goes on too long...well, I hate dropping people from games, but it unfortunately happens :(

3 - When you've got a saving throw to make, please roll that first before posting any other actions/rolls (unless it can occur before the save).

4 - Feel free to roll perception and sense motive whenever you want, and if you have a reroll, feel free to use that anytime as well.

5 - Have fun! Rule 5 trumps all other rules! :P

Incendiaeternus - good to see you again! So cool to be playing with you at two tables!

So it seems our team is Vanguard, flare Solarian, Technomancer, and a Mystic. Sounds like a good team. I PM'ed one another player but he did not respond yet so we will see.

@Jim btw I remember us talking couple of times about solarians, their design and how hard it is to make it work. When dealing with Aravon profile I didn't realise how much does it change to have 6 skills +int per level compared to solarian 4+int. Damn, I feel like Aravon is a scholar compared to my solarian PC :D (maybe not a scholar, but at least I could put some points into a lot of skills).

So I got the response from the potential 5th player and he declined. Apparently he played it and gm it in rl. So it looks like a team of four!

Alternatively, we could recruit for more if all want. I'm okay either way - up to the four of you.

I am fine either way. However, the deal is, that we announced the game on the recruitment channel and there was no response. Beside me remaining 3 players were approached individually ;) Just saying.

I am happy to wait and see if anyone else is interested. In the event everyone wants to kick off asap with the 4, then I'm fine by that, too.

If we can wait until Sunday or Monday that would be great. I am hoping to get 1 Roll20 game with Eleazar tomorrow (it won't change my level...still be level 4). If not then that is fine too.

Awesome. If the 6th person is having PC with unique races that would be superb. If not then simply awesome. Sometimes awesome would do.

@Eleazar - yeah. I actually played with someone who's Lvl 1 PC died on that scenario and he had to recreate it. It could be rough. Good to have our Borai alive! It should bring us luck:D

Some of you know that our "local" / VTT days here are Sat-Sun-Mon which usually has me a bit drained and not posting until Tuesday. The last 24 hours I really just needed to unplug a bit, in addition to that, but I didn't say anything about that here. I'll get a GM post up after I grab some food and run a couple of errands. Sorry about the delay.

Food for thought...do we want to take an intentional break until after Gen Con, except for your team's planning of the assault on Villyth's compound?

(Since I know several of us are GMs who are prepping to run stuff...speaking of which, my Thursday afternoon (US eastern time) game of #2-17 still has seats available!)

I am fine with us taking a brake. I am not impacted by Gen Con, but if this will be simpler for others sure.
