I am not affected, either, but am also more than happy to hit pause until after Gen Con, if folks need it.

I'm good either way, last two weeks have been crazy with a ton of stuff.

Thanks, everyone. And sorry again.

Hey @GM asking out of curiosity, do you feel like we will be able to finish this before Gameday? I simply want to know if I can look for a game for Aravon for that event or not.
I don't want to rush anything.

In total honesty, I don't know. The last time I ran this in PbP, it took 4 weeks to finish from when the group was at about this exact point in time. That said, their group was running the 4 player adjustment, made some really bad tactical errors, and we had the Paizo site crashing multiple times to contend with.
If your rolls go well, we could finish it with time to spare.
If we have delays and/or things slow down in-game, we might not finish before Gameday starts.
I wish I had a more definitive answer to give you, either way.
Also this is probably going to be the first gameday I'm sitting out since I started doing them (#4), although I'm signing on to be a backup GM for the SFS special. Those 5-nova requirements aren't going to fulfill themselves...

Thanks for the answer.
I know that in PBP there is a big variety, and again I don't want to rush things. I hate when you begin to cut corners to fit more games within the time box.
Having said that Gameday has a horrible vacuum effect when there are no other games happening. So I want to sign up a sufficient amount of PC's to go through that period ;)
At the moment our team does not post quick enough for us to explore this building quickly (at least this is my feeling)

Just FYI, from this Sunday for a week I will be on vacation which might make it hard for me to post. I would really like to end this scenario before the 1st thou as I signed Aravon for a next mission :D

Deepest apologies...rough few days. I'll get a post up shortly.
I'm giving thought to backing out of all the games I'm in for the upcoming PbP event, too, in case this trend continues...sorry again.

No problem here. Take your time. I hope all is well.

See? I suck!
Chronicles are finally done and posted - very sorry about the (it's me, so of course) one final delay. I took an unexpected HQ shift at PAX Online and wasn't very productive during it.
Once again, I hope you had fun in spite of all the delays. I'm going to report the game right now with the date on the chronicles as per my earlier statement.
It was a pleasure to run game for you all. Take care!

Hey CanisDirus.
The chronicle looks good, I downloaded it already.
First of all, thank you for running it. I had a blast. I did not know the story at all and was wondering how to play Aravon in different parts. But I certainly enjoyed it, and thank you for adjusting to what we did.
Unfortunately, times are crazy, so no worries about the breaks. I found the scenario engaging, NPC's were a bit more 3 dimensional than what I thought they would which is good. I liked the infiltration part.
@Team - thank you all for playing, I liked your characters. It is a pitty that we lost Minako :( But maybe next time we will have a chance to play together.
@Kent - great biohacker. I liked your description of his actions, bantering, showing off. Great game. Oh and beeping as using the computer :D
@Saeron - I like her hidden deamons, a voice in her head. Nicely played. I know that I harassed you to join this game over DM ;) And promised you that we will redefine what RP stands for :D I hope you do not regret joining this table.
@Sephia - good game, I liked your character. I really liked your more balanced point of view than drows are bad, we should not be helping them.
@Eleazar - I have a feeling like with every game I like Zar more and more. Great game Jim! You handled Grimlak nicely. As always it was a pleasure to play with you.
And final words: @Dire GM & All if you are in need of a PBP player let me know. It was a great experience playing with you.
Stay safe.

Fun fact I learned a few years ago from the devs - this scenario was partially inspired by the original "John Wick" film. Somebody messed with the Starfinders' stuff, and the PCs get to be the badasses going to take it back as well as send a message about why you don't do that sort of thing.
I may have added a bit to a few of the NPCs to flesh the story out more. It's one of the best things about PbP play, I think, that a GM has the canvas available to that sort of thing. I still feel bad about the constant delays, though :(

Thanks for running @The Dire GM! This scenario was a whole lot of fun the second time around! I forgot a lot of it (it was Origins 2018 after all)
Also thank you for introducing me to PbP on the Paizo forums, technology quirks aside it's a great format.
Great job @Team, glad to see you all could carry me in combat and Kent would expect nothing less!
