Ok, I'm having a ridiculously hard time coming up with an organic way to unite the party. I'll start roleplaying the new characters in town for now and see how I can make it happen.

I undergo surgery on Thursday to remove a lump from my abdomen. I will be in the hospital a night or two, supposedly, and then at home on drugs. I don't know what my posting will look like so please bot me if needed.

I think I asked this before but if I got an answer I've forgotten it... do I know any of the other PCs?
I've been living in Sandpoint for a couple years (although I was out of the city during the goblin attack), so if anyone else was an established resident we probably would at least be acquainted with each other. Also, my god (Gozreh) is one of the gods worshipped at the Cathedral, so if anyone else worships part of the Sandpoint Pantheon its even more likely.

I don’t think I’ve ever died in a PbP before, but in my IRL group we usually reroll at low/mid levels and resurrect at higher ones (when our characters are more important to the campaign and also resurrects are more affordable). I’m absolutely not opposed to rerolling, I love making new characters, although it does seem like Thakus filled a much-needed spot in the party.
Then again, bringing in a new character might give you (GM) an opportunity to do it in a way you like better.
Not too be a pessimist or anything, but discussing what to do about Thakus' death might be premature given that a TPK still seems like a very real possibility...
Hey all, returning to the boards again after a hiatus, noticed y'all are in a tight difficult spot and offering to return in character and bolster your ranks either temporarily to help y'all thru the rest this fight or permanently increase the party size to five.

Things have been even more hectic than I anticipated; I'm sorry for the extended silence. I'm over the hump now and hope to have posts up in all my games tomorrow. I might still be slow to post until the 27th or so, but I should be able to post some at least (if the game gets moving during that time).

Hey all, RL has also been kicking me in the balls the last couple weeks, and has not let up yet. I don't have enough time/energy to keep up with all my games so I'm going to have to drop most of them. Sadly, this is one of the games I won't be able to hold on to.
