Well, my good sirs. Who will have the honor of cracking that door open?
Ezren points to the main door then moves closer to the building.

![]() |

Sir Reinhart and Karando approach the doors together. Upon reaching for the handle you overhear an exasperated feminine voice from within.
“This affair has taken entirely too long and you have drawn far too much attention to yourself,” a woman grumbles imperiously, her rasping growl cutting through static pops and crackles. “Maybe you’ve had second thoughts. I would consider just where that would leave you.” A cowardly squeak and pleading murmurs are the only response, the words too slurred to understand. “Get it done, Zatqualmish. I would suggest expediently.”
Sir Reinhart opens the door and the voice goes quiet.
Inside the warehouse is very quiet now. In the silence that follows, the only other sounds inside are shuffling feet, the soft crackles of electricity, and the feverish scratching of quills to the south.

Moving into the warehouse you find the gnome hunched over a crate, scribbling furiously. “No, no, no!” cries a terrified voice from a back corner of the workshop. Zatqualmish, I commend you for finally coming to your senses. The folks at the lodge were worried for your safety and called on us to find you. Ezren introduces himself and his companions to the bewildered gnome. Now, some questions. First, of utmost importance, where are Dagur's documents?
Ezren pauses, waiting for the gnome to answer and to allow his companions to question the gnome.

![]() |

Zatqualmish hangs his head shamefully. He points to the far end of the warehouse. "The documents are over there. The Technic League paid me to sabotage the meeting." He cries softly into his hands.
The original documents, as well as the forgeries, were hastily shoved into a sturdy drawer at the desk Zatqualmish was using, located in the southeast corner of the warehouse. The documents include a ledger of activities the Hajoth Hakados Lodge has undertaken in or near Numeria over the last two decades, with careful notes showing that the Pathfinders didn’t steal or damage any of the technological equipment they studied.
With Zatqualmish captured and the documents recovered, you make it back to the lodge in time. As you arrive, Vanis is relieved to see you. He looks over the documents while listening to your report. "Perhaps with this and a little training you will be able to handle more threats in Numeria. Regardless you have averted disaster today." He slides the documents into a file in his drawer for safe keeping. "Zatqualmish will be taken aware to await his own judgement."
That is the end of the quest. I will get chronicles out to you in the morning. Hope you enjoyed and if you have not done so already please roll your earn income in the discussion as well as provide your character details for reporting.
