DM's ruling, of course, but I don't think you need to worry about the burn if you're being rained on: dousing rain has, in addition to providing fire resistance 5, the neat line item "nonmagical fires are automatically extinguished," and I think burn is (Ex). So I would guess that we might take appropriate damage for getting hit by something very/magically hot/ on fire, but wouldn't be at risk of catching fire ourselves.

Yasmeena |

Yasmeena involuntarily hums with the twang of her magical bowstring as she steps in time with her battle dance. She continues shooting deadly arrows at their enemies, sure that they must be on the home stretch now. Thank Sarenrae, she thinks wryly.

Aithaloessa Cyana |

Under the cover of Yasmeena’s storm of arrows, Aith takes a deep breath. With a bit of luck, she can pull this off, but it will take even more weird, rapid calculations than her usual spells.
Sacred Geometry: 9d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4, 2, 3, 4) = 27
Target numbers: 31, 37, 41. Calculating: 3*4+3*4+6*2+2+1-2=37 :D
Balancing an unwieldy number of variables in her head, Aith tweaks the gestures for her basic force missile spell with a pinch of the conjured glitter she sometimes uses to try to pick out and blind things sneaking around, and so the darts of force she calls forth sparkle rather more than usual as they flash towards the elemental.
1-round casting time, to cast a dazing magic missile with Sacred Geometry. Damage: 5d4 + 5 ⇒ (2, 4, 4, 1, 1) + 5 = 17 and Will DC 16 to negate 1 round of daze. Since our elemental's been cursed with pugwampi's grace, it takes the worse of two rolls. >:)

The elemental's life hangs on a thread, but it keeps attacking.

After this attack Aithaloessa finally manages to get her spell off and shoots the elemental out of existance. Only a little ash is left after the fire burns out.
