I didn't take it personally, but next time I'll explain the mechanics and get the players to roll, as I did there. That's what I learned from the experience .. I hope the rest of the party are ready for it!!!

You can roll any checks yourselves,each success will help you reach your goals and add to your discovery points. These points are used to decide how good you are at finding the Trail and I've been keeping track on these as you have gone along.

I don't think it's up to me as the GM to metagame this, it's up to the characters to decide. Please debate among yourselves either in character, in the discussion thread or through PMs.

Others can feel free to jump in while Elsha works on his career as a Standup B.S. artist :P

20-ish days before Gameday, up to 3 /4 conflicts.....

Are we behind, time-wise, where you thought we'd be now? I'm okay with as fast a pace as others moving onto gameday (with any of these characters) want to go.

I would prefer if we finished before the Gameday, as Xun is my last PC still standing (which hopefully will not change during this scenario). However if we can't make it is not a big deal. I have plenty SFS PC's that I can fill my time with ;)

Am i reading the attacks wrong? For example Im seeing the numbers for strike below both Brodock and Elsha's AC but still taking all the damage.

Looks like Deevor is only showing us the raw rolls and not the enemy's attack modifiers. :)

Edit: Which... if that is the case, odds are real good that Odvar actually crit Pa on that first bite, as he rolled a 19 on the die, so it probably broke 28 total. It's a solid bit to retcon at the moment, though.

You're right, just showing raw dice, so excited about the 19, forgot about the crit ... next time. Things have moved on so much can't retcon.

That makes sense. Thanks for the clarification. Though a six roll plus mods hits? Scary, glad he died. Might as well try and save the 1st level spells for some healing.

Yeah... my first ever attack roll with Pa was a crit, max damage on the initial roll, and max damage on the deadly die. it's GROSS how much damage he can do! Especially with 2E being just "roll normally then double it, and then add deadly dice if you have them", makes those crits a LOT more likely to burst out super high damage.

Yes should be able to find berries no problem, consider goodberry cast.

Using 3 Lesser Elixirs of Life, will bring Brodock, Elsha and Pa to full HPs. Only Pa requires further healing to get rid of the wounded 1 condition, with Pa's skill in medicine, only a 1 would critically fail, so then it's 50/50 to get rid of the condition. Thus the journey to the Orcs is at least 3-4 hours, so you could use the journey to get rid of that condition. In fact I think you would have stopped on the way to treat Pa's wounds, he'd in all likelihood be OK by the time you get to the Orc encampment.

So assume you are all at full HPs and Pa no longer has the wounded 1 condition.

Pretty sure the DC is 14 so that's a fail, so 1cp per unit of downtime I think. Is that right?

Gm thanks for running this game, I really enjoyed it. It was really well run, encounters and while journey felt important and not pushed on us. I will write a bit more after 5th when I will be back from vacation. Chronicle looks good but I wonder why did we only get 6.4 gold? Did we miss a bunch of treasure? I think born is about 14, or is it not the case in this scenario, I am simply curious :)

OK, sorry the pdf gave 6.4, but it did have 10 treasure bundles which you got, so should have given 14gp, I will reissue the sheets with the new amount.

@Brodock, your faction should be Horizen Hunters in 2E, which is pretty similar to Horizen Walker in Starfinder.
