I really wanted to play more control but at 1st that's grease and I've only ever had it mess with our melee instead of the baddies so I've been holding off.

I should probably grab Magic Missile or Overheat or something just have the option of damage output

We could have used at least one more DPS. Staar is not nearly optimized enough to be the main damage-dealer.

Grease sounds really good if you use it on an opponent's weapon, but I never had the opportunity. But not taking magic missile is really hard - the free damage is very tempting, specially on low levels.

Grease was a go to for me in PF. It just work as well in SF.

Staar seems quite able at damage dealing. I'm sure she's accounted for nearly half of our total damage, or maybe more.

Considering this is my third scenario, I could have saved enough for a mk 1 strength augment by now, and should be rocking a Str 20 and have weapon focus instead of heavy armor. My attack bonus could be +7 instead of +4, my damage 1d6+1+7 instead of 1d6+1+5.

She does have a nice enough damage when she hits, but she doesn't hit as often as she could.

But if I survive and get to reroll the character before leveling up, the biggest change will be raising the strength to 18 - I really like her addiction to necrografting and already have plans for the next ones.

And probably getting weapon focus instead of heavy armor.

- Let me know if your character advanced to 2nd level as a result of the Scoured Stars Veteran boon (either by playing 1-99 with this character at level 1, or starting as a new character at level 2 via the Scoured Stars Veteran boon.)

I found the conversation -- Soulfire fusion for solarian weapon crystals. Adds charisma bonus to damage. Takes some of the pressure off strength.

I already use one of those, it's a must-have for any solarian dealing damage. But it doesn't help with the attack bonus, unfortunately.

The tragic thing is Staar's wicked awesome last stand wasn't witnessed fully by the party because we were busy elsewhere. She really ought to have hero status ++.

So many tough choices here. The devices seem to be weakening the monster. Do we try more of that, or do we just keep killing jinsuls?

Not sure how we're going to deal with range on Purple now that I'm out of that divine dim door but at least we can take down Blue. We'll punch this one out as fast as we can and work from there...might need to buy a grappler after this is all over.

Nice job everyone! You survived Fate of the Scoured God :)

The scenario ended because all three of the part 4 missions were completed by 2/3s of the tables.

This was not an easy combat - Staar called it with the Dream Monster being a CR 5. Each of the jinsul technomancers were CR 3. The only thing you had working in your favor was that they would not attack until attacked.

I'll be working on chronicles shortly.

Thanks all for running this game. This was also my first special and I loved it! This was also the first game for Casey. As such, he can be rebuilt. Is there anything (other than his play style) that I could do to make him more impactful? Asking for a friend.

Yeah, it would be nice if we were allowed to finish out the mission, though I'm not sure how it would have gone.

Sort of spoilers, but if you play again you'll play in a mid or high tier group:
Ultimately you needed to defeat the dream monster, which would shut off all the devices and send the jinsul running. Each successful communication with Kadrical removed a third of the monster's remaining HP, but there were only three questions available.

As for the dimension door, that came from having the High Society Influence (Iteration-177) boon slotted. "Ailuros grants them some of their little remaining magical energy. Up to three times during the encounter, the PC can cast dimension door as a spell-like ability, using their character level as their caster level."

This was very fun, never expected to have a character pushed to the limits like this.

The format was very interesting - I'd like to see some statistics on what happened at each table, which missions they chose, how long they took to complete it. And if anyone died!

Do have a question, I have the Skittershot chronicle and can get +1 on that for a session played. Can I just go +1 and say 2-00 or do you need to sign off/add that to this chronicle yourself? Online is always a little weird adding things to other chronicles.

I updated your chronicle to have "+1 Skittershot" Shouldn't have any issues adding it to your Skittershot chronicle yourself. (At least that was how I did my skittershot...)

Wow, and we're done. I'm really not sure how things would have turned out if we would have continued. I think if I had to pick I think we could have succeeded, but I had pretty substantial doubts.

Thanks for playing and running! It was a ron if fun, and I loved all of the group chatter in Discussion (even if I wasn't very talkative at times). Out of curiosity, would folks have interest in "keeping the band together" for another scenario? I could potentially run something if there's interest (or play) but I definitely understand if people are ready for a break after that last fight.

I like the phrase "domestic tranquility" and for much the same reason, I also couldn't play on Saturday, though Second-1 has already been through that one.

Likewise, already did 1-28, and 1-36. S2 wise, I think only 2-07 I've done so after that fully open.

No, he was already 2nd level when he did that, so am planning on using that boon for a new character here shortly.

For scenarios that are 1-4, I can only play in repeatables for credit. And I've played all of them except 2-07.

For what I could run for credit, I can GM all of the repeatables (I haven't run 2-03 yet) and can add in 2-13 and 2-21 (which I'm currently playing).

Is there anybody that can't play 2-13?

Or, GM Wolffauer, would you prefer to GM again?

If nobody has strong feelings one way or another I can start rolling dice. :)

I can run Skittershot and Skittercrash, though I'd need a day or two to set up. I didn't see tags immediately on them so not sure if they're replayable or not.
