It's pretty awesome at these low levels. I originally took it thinking that Ears would use it himself, but he missed his very first attack roll and wasted the spell. So disappointing. But in his next combat he boosted a party marksman's gun and ended the encounter.

Since then, like you, I try to keep the party soldiers and solarians happy.

Most of them are situational or seem to require a consensus, but this one:

"The PCs can also requisition a single consumable item with an item level up to the PC’s level. These consumables cannot have permanent effects, and PCs who don’t use them during the course of the scenario must return them at the end of the adventure."

We can grab now and keep it, individually.

I agree with the +4.

We have some good firepower otherwise, Second-1 slotted "Finest Weapons" which is a reroll of any 1s on damage dice.

I'm thinking +4 to any one roll of Mysticism, Perception, or Sense Motive, also everyone counts as trained in Mysticism. Thoughts?

The cover seed is kind of interesting, and it's from a book that I don't have yet. I'll grab one of those if somebody has the book. Anyone?

Second-1, your (Iterations-177's) options are harder to choose between and I'm not sure if we all get the benefit, or just one of us. That's one poorly worded description.

Maybe GMW can clarify that first option.

Bonuses:

Fitch (Ears)
Fitch shows the PCs some of the inner workings of the Master of Stars, which help the PCs better understand other starships. Once during the adventure, all the PCs’ can gain a +4 bonus to any non-gunnery skill check during the same round of a starship combat.
OR
The PCs can force the crew of an enemy ship to take a –2 penalty to all nongunnery skill checks made during the round. The use of this ability must be declared at the start of the starship combat round.

Iteration-177 (Second-1)
The PCs gain significant insight into Iteration-177’s understanding of the divine and share a portion of his intuition. A PC can gain a +4 bonus to any one Mysticism, Perception, or Sense Motive check within the Scoured Stars. This allows the PC to count as being trained in Mysticism for the duration of the adventure.
OR
A PC can add a +2 bonus to any one saving throw while within the Scoured Stars.

Arvin (Casey)
The PCs improve their allies’ morale, making them more reliable in combat. Once during the adventure, the group can gain the benefit of aid another (+2 bonus) to all skill checks and attack rolls for 1 round.

Celita (Anasi)
Pleased with the PCs’ review, Celita outfits the Starfinder fleet with better weapons-tracking software for targeting jinsul ships. Once during the adventure, the PCs gain a +2 bonus to all starship combat gunnery rolls, and that attack does not consume ammunition in the case of a weapon with the limited fire property.

Zigvigix (Staar)
Zigvigix grants the PCs priority access to some Starfinder Society equipment. Once during the adventure, each PC can requisition a weapon with an item level up to the PC’s level + 1 for the duration of one mission. The group must use this ability prior to starting a new encounter, and this ability cannot be used during Part 4. The weapon comes with a full battery or magazine.
AND
The PCs can also requisition a single consumable item with an item level up to the PC’s level. These consumables cannot have permanent effects, and PCs who don’t use them during the course of the scenario must return them at the end of the adventure.

Radaszam (Sonomi)
The PCs assist overviewing the Society’s default plan of engagement. The PCs can reroll any one skill check while in the same location as a fleet.
OR
Once during the adventure, while in the same location as a fleet, the PCs can instead activate this reward to gain a +2 bonus to each of their initiative checks for that mission.

Note: The PC which earned the reward does not need to be the one who uses it.

I own them as well and am happy to "lend" them to the table, so no need for proof.

Iterations-177's bonus can only be used by one player. (You've all gotten the "intuition", but only one will benefit from it during the adventure.

Of course, beyond Zigvigix's bonus, none of these need to be assigned until you want to use them.

Staar will be doing Open Crew Actions to help gunnery checks - that's about all she can do with her skill set.

Actually, with your Dex +3 and ranks in piloting, you are our best gunner; followed by Ears with Dex +2 and ranks and piloting; and then Second-1/Sonomi Ikuyo with Dex +2 and no ranks in piloting.

We have to see what our ship will be (probably standard Starfinder Society starships), but we should employ at least two gunners.

Love that Ops edge bonus.

Who else do we have that can fly? Pilot bonus boosts initiative and AC. That's at least as important as gunnery.

NPC gunners always have ridiculous bonuses - if we can maintain our shield "healing" that usually takes care of defense, since they almost always hit PC’s ships.

But we are lacking in piloting bonuses with Casey and Ears gunning - that’ll limit our flybys and skill checks against random things that might happen during a combat. We might as well bump Second-1 or Sonomi Ikuyo to secondary gunner, their gunnery bonus is just a bit lower.
