As Locke, Jamal and Pell head towards the terrace and the boats, ready to borrow a little skiff - only Pell arms himself correctly for the dangers ahead: thirst!
Do the others follow?
Or take some other route?
That dark cave carved into the rock seems... interesting?

Staring open mouthed at Jamal as if the man has grown a second head it takes quite some time for Snagrak to return to his senses and when he finally does he mutters to himself, "Fed up... with piratey stuff..." Horror underlaying his every word.
Shaking free of the terrible thoughts the goblin holds the driftwood symbol he wears close and whispers to it. "Snagrak never tired of Bees Mara.", before finally moving to his companions, though he still shoots Jamal a dirty look.
"Can borrow boat, but probably better to steal. Is Port Peril after all, might get told off otherwise." he offers helpfully, fully on board with taking a boat away from the noisy longshanks outside and snatching up armfuls of food to stuff into his bags and any bottles of water or alcohol as he waits.

So, grabbing bottles and mugs you get to a row boat and leave the bar.
Where you see a bunch of Unseen Servants and Animated Brooms appearing from the cellar and starting to clean up.
You row back to Hlar’s boat, contract in hand - or put away someway safe.
"Oh no... you made it back."
She grumbles, as the old diver is upset at having to row you back out so soon after just arriving in town.
"But I imagine you started that commotion?
Then it is probably best to leave after being involved in a brawl of that size."
She navigates the you back to the sandbar she originally picked you up at, leaving you with some dried squid and a jar of fresh water.
"Be safe!", she says, as she rows away.
You look around.
The water is rising again.

Perhaps unsurprisingly Snagrak quickly speaks up, "Yes! Squids good hats. Should all wear." Settling down on the small sandbar he begins pulling various, mostly crushed food items from wherever he secreted them and happily munching away.
"Sock-eye-itty island good, if bit cramped." he says, fondly patting the sand. "Lady Fola be glad for us to own it now. Prolly make us kings." Nodding along to himself he happily sits there, content to wait for now.

The squid is dried, and your feet are wet-- and then your feet are dry and the squid is no more.
Since you spend enough time there for the tide to rise, and then ebb.
And then again!
You actually are left out there for a full day.
After having had to sleep on a sand bar during the low tide, and then stand again with sea water up to your ankles, you start to truly wonder how you're going to get out of this--
--when a garbage barge filled with Lizard-folk passes by.
"Hey, you! We've been commissioned to take you to Absalom!"
The trip "home" takes weeks, on the very slow barge-- that is filled with guano.
It is thus a smelly lot that present Stella Fane’s contract to Venture-Captain Ambrus Valsin, notifying him that she’s agreed to aid the Society with passage through the blockade, and that the way to Vidrian is open.
In gratitude for your service, Valsin presents you with an archaic wayfinder-- and a pile of soap bars, indicating that the Grand Lodge showers have hot water!
And so endeth this round of Port Peril Pub Crawl

As a side note, Jamal would try to give a coin to the boat owner before leaving.
Also, he really complains about the logistical organization of this mission.

GM Wayfinder |

The owners of the boat you took, some fishermen who use electric arc and hydraulic push to get the big fish, are very happy about getting some money from Jamal:
"Make that a platinum piece, will you, mate!"
Ambrus Valsin listens intently to your complaint-- "Wamal Jati, is it?
Good... here. Please fill this out."
He hands you a writing set, and a big pile of papers, which you see is a Pathfinder Field Operative Incident Report.
As he leaves, he calls out: "Do not forget to file it with the clerk on the way out.
The office closes at 3 pm."

Snagrak enjoys the luxurious cruise back to Absalom, excitedly retelling the story of the groups adventure to the Iruxi time and time... and time..... and time again. Each repetition it get a little wilder, a little more hair raising. By the end of it they are fighting the whole city, slaying a kraken and all the Free Captains are pledging their allegiance to the Society. At least it's not boring?

Upon return to Absalom, Pell lingers at the dock for a few moments, looking around in the hope of glancing at least a single dark and dusky, fair-haired Garundi man or woman.
@GM Wayfinder - Thanks for running and providing a run of this quest unlike any other!
@All - This was a fun group (and very fast). I look forward to sharing tables with each of you in the future!

Jamal will give the owner a few coins, what he feels is a decent price.
He will also frown to Locke's remark: "No need to hide your disappointment. I will fill this file. Reporting is part of our job."
