It's actually simpler than that. There is a home region boon which is al you need to qualify for the uncommon items that requires you to be in a certain part of the world.
Secondary initiation is also a cheap (2 fame) way to get into any organization like the hellknights.
Tbh with the rules as presented I'd just save for uncommon ancestries

So I wanted to bring this up, especially with Bert as his character is affected by it. The sea serpent's spine rake activity:
Spine rake [two-actions] (attack, move) The young sea serpent extends the spines along its back and Swims or Strides. Each creature the serpent is adjacent to at any point during its movement takes 1d4+2 slashing damage (DC 14 basic Reflex save).
I did not roll an attack roll as the stat block only has one melee attack and that's the jaws (+9). There's no attack roll for the spine rake listed. So Bert, would you like me to roll the attack roll using the STR mod?

It doesn't have an attack roll. The basic reflex save covers the randommess for the attack.

They are! I'm excited to learn about the PF2 confused condition. I do wish that I wouldn't be learning by having the effect on my character!

I did enjoy the swingy nature of PF1 confusion. By not knowing what that PC will do on their turn (as opposed to stunned - do nothing) means that you have to work around some of the chaos.
Confusion has killed a few PCs in my day though :p Hopefully not today!
EDIT: My word, I just read PF2 confusion though.
Alright, well good luck team! At least I don't hurt too much with 1d4+1 shots.

            From reading PF2 Confusion, I am a bit - heh - confused.
You use all your actions to Strike or cast offensive cantrips, though the GM can have you use other actions to facilitate attack, such as draw a weapon, move so that a target is in reach, and so forth. Your targets are determined randomly by the GM. If you have no other viable targets, you target yourself, automatically hitting but not scoring a critical hit. If it’s impossible for you to attack or cast spells, you babble incoherently, wasting your actions.
When it says "targets", do you think it's correct for to roll a single target to fixate on with all actions for a turn, or after each successful attack, roll a new target, or just roll a new target after each attack?

It could be either way. I can imagine confusion being reflected in that the PC thinks a friend is the foe they're chasing, and thus fixates.
I can also imagine it being just confusion with all enemies because you treat all allies as foes.
I expect table variance here.

...and I messed up. I took into account that Gabros has a critical success in one of his reflex saves vs. the spine rake but didn't take into account that Hammick has two critical success from the reflex saves I rolled.
Keeping things honest, Hammick is still only down -5 HP, unless Hammick prefers to use his rolls and take half damage and be down -10HP total :P.

Thank you guys, I was very fortunate to have you as players. I'm still unsure whether to run Archeology in Aspenthar or a scenario. I'll sleep on it, but yes, you all have early bird admission. It was a blast playing with you guys. Feel free to register on the sign up sheet regardless of what I choose. You're also free to suggest a scenario if you wish. Just bear in mind that a scenario will probably take twice or thrice as long as this did.
In order to give you your chronicle sheets, I'm missing info:
Lord Gabros Orlovsky: I'm missing your faction and starting gold. It's also not completely clear to me if you bought the longbow and shortsword or if your character had them from the start as I would like your complete character sheet up by the time of our next quest. If you need a template, I can gladly give you one so you can upload it onto your alias or just do it as Inzo and upload the sheet pdf. Whichever is easier for you.
Kutu Rainkin: I'm missing your starting gold.
Orla: I'm missing your starting gold and downtime roll. You spent: Lesser Alchemist Fire 3 GP | Winter Clothing 4 SP
Hammick: I'm missing your starting gold and downtime roll.
I'll post a link with the chronicle sheets once I have this info. In the meantime, I'll report this quest.

I bought the weapons between scenarios. I put them on the last chronicles purchases.
I kinda forgot which faction I went with. I’ll get all that sorted and let you know asap

            My starting gold was 21gp, 4sp, 21cp
You have my downtime roll for Lore Absalom - 16.
And I’m keen for another Quest (but not the 1st one).

Thanks so much GM Deneve! That was super fun. You really brought the travel to the adventure site to life, which based on my experience with PFS quests will be a few paragraphs and that's it.
Whichever you do next, I'll be along for the ride!

This was a great first experience with pathfinder. I'd love to join any other game you'll have me in.
Kutu, I believe you made a mistake there. You do start with 15gp, but you should have spent it in getting your kit: weapons, armor, consumables, etc. You should have less gp.
As for everyone else, I'll go with Q1-06 Archeology in Aspenthar. It's for 1st to 4th level characters. It's just the better option due to timing. I have Teneb (Inzo) and ubiquitous (Bert) already registered in the sign up sheet, I'm missing the rest. I plan to set up the campaign threads on Thursday and begin that same day or this Friday.

I just noticed by your PFS# that both Gabros and GM Deneve are newer to the campaign, although it's hard for me to tell exactly how new.
Did you both start with PF2 or is that an ID from later on in the 1E campaign?
Also Dinketry is old hat, we know that ;)

I had an account for about two years, but didn't join PFS until 2nd edition. There simply wasn't any PFS/SFS infrastructure down here in Mexico until I decided to volunteer.
All right, Gabros, your sheet has been corrected, please double-check; Kutu's sheet is up as well. Since everyone has signed up, I'll be creating the campaign thread so please dot in, although we're still scheduled to start on Friday.
It would really help me with admin if you could please fill out your starting XP, starting fame, reputation and so on for the new quest as I can just spend less time creating the chronicle sheets.
