I'll be out of the country (and with limited access to the forums/ability to post) tomorrow through Aug. 28, after which I'll be moving Aug. 29 to a new place.
I may get another post or two in before I leave and maybe a post Aug. 28 when I return, but I probably won't have regular posting again until Aug. 30 or 31.

Hoping you feel better, Kate.
I will be traveling over the next four days and may only have limited or no access to post. Please feel free to bot me as necessary.
Hah! No whoops needed. My other trans friends always joke about the similarity (assigned cop at birth, all genders are bastards, etc….) so I thought it was funny :D
I wanted to leave time for anyone who wanted to to get to address the Celestial Menagerie, but that's basically the end of the volume!
If you would like credit for this adventure for a PFS character, you can apply it to a character of any level. Please just give me the character name, number, and faction, and I'll leave you to work out treasure bundles and downtime.
Chronicle Boons:
Friend to the Animals: You have befriended an animal to serve as an able assistant and loyal guardian. You gain access to the Animal Trainer archetype and its associated feats.
Circus Caster: Your continued time among the circus has unlocked new arcane abilities. You gain access to the following spells: clownish curse, favorable review, pyrotechnics, pillar of water.
Shoony Ancestry: You qualify to purchase a boon with Achievement Points that allows you to play a character from the Rare shoony ancestry. If you apply this Chronicle Sheet to a new character (or a character who has not yet played in a game with 12 or more XP), the character is eligible to purchase a discounted Achievement Point boon to select the shoony ancestry (limit 1 discounted shoony boon per player) To redeem Achievement Points, go to paizo.com/organizedPlay/myAccount and click on the Boons tab.

Also, does anyone else want to try to address Dusklight's circus? I figure Niksi's our best talker/leader, which is why I didn't give my full sermon. :) But we should definitely try to recruit some folks here.
That’s my plan, but I’ve just been exhausted and got behind on everything, so have been catching up. This last month of work has been horrible plus I still have long covid. I’m on break now thankfully at least.

Rova, Level Nine
+13 HP
+1 to everything
Ancestry feat: Guiding Luck: Your luck guides you to look the right way and aim your blows unerringly. You can use Halfling Luck twice per day: once in response to its normal trigger, and once when you fail a Perception check or attack roll instead of the normal trigger.
Nature’s Edge: You always find the weak points in your foes' defenses when they're on unfavorable terrain. Enemies are flat-footed to you if they're in natural difficult terrain or in difficult terrain resulting from a snare.
Ranger Expertise: You’ve practiced your techniques to make them harder to resist. Your proficiency rank for your ranger class DC increases to expert.
I'll add in a couple of bits with the members of the Celestial Menagerie, but I am ready to start Book 3 next week!
I did want to check in that everyone wants to continue. I know that the pace has slowed, and given my personal circumstances, I imagine it will remain a slower-paced game. If people are cool with that, great! I would love to continue GMing for you. If anyone is finding it frustrating, I totally understand if you would like to bow out.
I'll also add that defeating Mistress Dusklight is definitely the culmination of the main circus storyline, and the further books have more focus on the Aroden plot, along with some other really fun side stories. If that doesn't sound good to you, again, no hard feelings if you don't want to continue.
Otherwise, please feel free to level up, and we will proceed to Book 3!
As always, I am fine with any retraining that anyone wants to do. I know that cool content keeps coming out, and you can absolutely change anything that you want on your build.

I love Rova and want to continue. I’m torn with my animal companion. I feel like Thkrull is a ton of fun — but I hate that his support mechanic is so mediocre (even though I wrote it; I still feel like it’s better than the canon version though.)
I am as well. I am quite attached to Niksi and I would like to have more time with her. I did make her centered around the circus, so I am going to need to do some consideration on how best to have her character grow more into the Aroden plot as we continue. I’m still limping through long covid but my cold is gone and my big work deadline will be done by the 20th thankfully.
