Nalo's called Mincey out twice now. Let me head off any misunderstanding by saying OOC, that I really like the Mincey character. She's well characterized and pretty funny. She has great 'voice'.
Nalo's just the kind of guy who's going to say something when someone strays from his ideas of the mission parameters, or proper (vesk-like) behavior.
I am happy to let the vesk play "straight man" to Mincey's antics! I enjoy the mix in personalities.
(Although if any of the players think that her actions or words have crossed any lines, or even come too close to them, please let me know.amd I will tone her done and pull her back. I want to keep having fun, but not at the expense of anyone else's fun or comfort.)
Well personally, I will not continue to put up with such chicanery and tom foolery. If this does not stop immediately, I will report all parties to the fashion police and the grammar nazis. You'll have red marks all over your records. Don't test me. I'm serious.
Take whatever time you need. You have my sympathies. My former-9-year-old turned 10 a few weeks ago, waking up the next day sick. It has now circulated through all 3 of our kids.
@therealthom - Thanks for the encouragement. This PC is fun to play and I am glad that you are enjoying her too. This table has quite a fun mix of PCs and I'm enjoying it.

Me too! I did just get the Character Operations Manual though, and having read the vanguard, I'm kicking myself for not making Roddy one. There may be a mnemonic editor purchase in his future.
It's okay, GMGS. Take care of the home front first. We'll be here.
All, I don't have to miss that first level rebuild rule. It's in the 2nd edition SFS Guide. You can rebuild at first level, but you've got to show your next game master what you did.
Sorry everyone. Everything had finally died down some so I’ll be able to get an update up today. Should have no more problems after this. We are at the end so we can finish
here soon. Thanks for your patience.
Rizzit "Mincey" has obtained reputation previously from the Acquisitives, so the instead of "2|2" in the Reputation section, it should be "2|10" (as Mincey already had 8 reputation previously) or you can just make it "2| " and I could fill in the blank.

Okay so I was looking at the SFS Guide and it looks like I can't buy a mk I mnemonic editor with credits because it's a level 5 item. But the Basic Purchasing boon appears to let me buy it for 4 Fame, I think? Can you confirm that for me GM?
If that's the case, I'll spend the 4 Fame to use a mnemonic editor to retrain my levels.
Ok had my VTT game fall through. Roddy I am going to post what I have from the Core Rulebook.
Rather than meticulously track every arms dealer, contact,
guild, and license a character has access to, the game assumes
that in typical settlements you can find and purchase anything
with an item level no greater than your character level + 1, and at
major settlements items up to your character level + 2. The GM
can restrict access to some items (even those of an appropriate
level) or make items of a higher level available for purchase
(possibly at a greatly increased price or in return for a favor done
for the seller).
Since you are level 1 and the item is level 5, I would say it would be very difficult or impossible for you to find that item to buy. I would obviously not increase the price or anything like that. If you really want to go that route, I can check with a few other GMs and see what they think. Let me know.
I'm not 100% sure, but I think you can rebuild your character as long as you're 1st level (your first or second game). After that you're stuck. You can, as Roddy noted, purchase a mnemonic editor with fame. I don't think that is restricted other than the cost.
I was just reading about purchases in the SFS rules last week . You can always buy level+1. If it's on a chronicle for the character, you can buy level + 2. I did not read the fame rules.
Also, you can rebuild freely at level 1, as Dax noted.
