Before you do Flint: While the door seems safe enough to open, Bel's sharp ears pick up on a heavily muffled noise from the other side of the door. There's a chorus of snarls followed by a muffled command of some kind. As she listens, she gets a sense there's multiple beasts and a single individual directing them.

Having made your preparations, you touch the door and open the way. The massive chamber beyond is brightly lit by a ceiling that glows with images of red-orange flames. The center of the room is dominated by a large sunken area a few steps down, which contains a padded space and several training dummies. In the north east and north west corners, force fields hold back a group of four tashtari each. You notice that next to each force field enclosure, a wall panel is set up to allow raising and dropping the enclosure's field (marked in green). The central training area currently has a trio of four legged beasts with lizard-like haunches but tiger-like torsos and heads. Their manes glow with flame. A single ifrit in light armor and with a whip in hand stands at the southern end of the room overlooking the training of the beasts. (Handouts updates with a few pics)
The ifrit looks up immediately as the doors open and gives a cheery smile "Oh, it's the guests. Here for the show I assume?"

Ignoring the shot that hit him, Ordyt surges into the room hot on Flint's heels and closes with the same beast, his magically hastened stride giving him an opportunity to strike out at the wounded vahdu with his own flurry of blows!

The ifrit clicks her tongue and the remaining two vahdu pounce in unison. While they slash and bite at Flint, the ifrit asks "You're very far from home. Are you sure you're supposed to be here?" Two of the fiery beasts' claws get past Flint's guard (Dealing 22 and 17 damage after DR).
The ifrit follows by dashing to the side and toward one of the tashtari cages. She flicks her pistol out as she goes, flashing a cheeky grin as she fires at Mari. The sudden arc of electricity catches Mari off guard (dealing 16 dmg after resist and leaving her off-target).
