So Thursday I got word that my little sister was diagnosed with a stage two invasive breast cancer. Its essentially the same one that took our grandmother and great aunt. Im seeking a 2nd job to help with upcoming medical bills and will do my best to keep up with my commitments here becuase i'll need something to distract my mind. If i seem distant or vacant feel free to give me a nudge i wont hold it against you.

My grandmother survived breast cancer when my mom was young (only to succumb to lung cancer when I was a toddler). Take care of your family first. I'll pray for y'all.

Bas told us over a month ago that they'd be in and out because of life stuff. They said to nudge them if needed. I would rather move things along if people haven't responded within a week, and sooner preferably. We have all posted our skills in our aliases and should be able to be botted for quick rolls.
We were making really good progress during July and I was getting excited about where the story was going. I'd love to get that momentum back.

Hey folks, had one of my cats pass very unexpectedly and unfortunately last night, I might be a few days before I’m feeling up to much.
The loss of a pet's always hard. Take as long as you need! *e-hug*
As someone who loves my cat like my own child, I totally understand how devastated their passing can be and when it is unexpected it is even worse.
Thanks folks, the shock of it’s faded a bit and I’ve gotten through it by giving our other cat extra pets and treats. We laid our old girl to rest in her favorite afternoon nap spot in our rose bed, alongside treats, some salmon sashimi, and feathers and bird seed so she can hunt birds in Valhalla.
I’m getting back into things, just might be a bit slowly.

Mother Nature decided to be funny again and give us a blizzard after a winter with barely any snow. I was stuck at the hotel overnight because of it, but I enjoyed myself. I watched the first five episodes of Delicious In Dungeon and it's as awesome as everyone's been saying it is!

I figured you’re the expert on what rough level these folks are (IC, at least. I know you’re probably as in the dark as we are OOC. But Saraon might have seen them cast higher level spells or wildshape into things that suggest high level, back during his training. Or something.) Absent any idea of that, better to try honorable 1v1 first and only resort to group combat if necessary.

According to the last tests the cancer is on the retreat and being eradicated by the radiation. So thats good, Still a long way to go for my sister but that hurdle is cleared at least.

Hey folks, I haven't forgotten you, just swamped with work and end of the semester craziness. I'll get the battle with Jade Bull started within the next few days.
'Tis cool! It may have been a decade or so since I've been in higher education, but I vividly remember the stress of semester's end!
My attendance is going to be variable for a bit: my mom's sister, who's kind of been an important part of her life since she was eight, and thus an important part of our family by extension, passed away last night. :(

Just so you all are aware, my posting's gonna be limited from the 10th to the 14th next week: my family and me are taking a small trip for a few days and then after that we have my aunt's funeral.
Hey folks, I think I'll need to put this game on pause for July. My job this summer has been much more demanding than expected, and I don't have a ton of wherewithal on my off hours.
The field season ends the second week of August, so let's plan to pick back up then.
