My wife and I were both ill on Wednesday and so enjoyed a Thanksgiving of Pedialyte and chicken broth.

But after we started feeling a bit better, I roasted some potatoes and brussel sprouts because I hadn't been to the store in days and had to make do with what I had in the pantry/fridge. Pretty solid overall. Full meal to come, most likely tomorrow.

I'm staying home from work sick today myself. It's only a cold, but after I got home from my shift yesterday my voice deteriorated fast. It helps that today was supposed to be my Friday, so I've effectively gained a 3-day weekend. Hope I recover quickly, though.

Hmm, would it be possible to rotate the creature with Shifting Sand? The spell says I can move the sand up to 10 feet in any direction, dragging creatures along, but technically the sand itself isn't changing squares.

I'm imagining some kind of vortex like movement.

What’s your vision with it? As far as I know the exact orientation of a creature isn’t really covered in the rules.

I'm hoping to pull the creature away from Saraon, so he might heal himself or use his spells, while still keeping within Bas's range.

Moving the creature one square left, but keeping the sand in the same spot. It's a 10x10 square, so rotating it would theoretically move a creature a space.

It did! I got back home safely, and got to do a little holiday get-together with my sister and her girlfriend, since they couldn't visit during the actual holiday while there was COVID in the house.

Hi all. I want to apologize for my extended absence. First things first, I fully intend to keep up with the campaign if you’ll still have me. Second, I’ll offer an explanation. (Posting this to all of my currently active campaigns).

I wish I could say that there was one big thing, but instead it was a lot of small to medium things. Physical and mental health problems, almost 20% of my waking hours spent traveling in the last month and a half, some work-related woes, the stress of the holidays, internet outages, writer’s block, etc. In the few times that I had sufficient time and energy to even look at the Paizo boards, I found myself overwhelmed by the high number of new posts and was experiencing terrific guilt and anxiety about having missed so much. I have been composing this message for a couple of days now, trying to provide a semblance of apology.

And now I am trying to catch up in earnest.

Thank you for your patience with me, especially those who reached out here or on Discord. I tried my best to respond as I was able, but I know I missed some of you.

I apparently forgot to post that i was going to be gone for the last 10 days, so there's no worries for taking time to relax a bit.

Went to visit my grandmother for the new year, She lives on a farm in Sweden, so i was pretty much unplugged the whole time. Honestly it's healthy to do on occassion.

That sounds absolutely lovely! I was somewhat less unplugged but spent a few days over the holidays in a cabin in rural California to see the giant sequoias. They are utterly massive and inspiring.

I was stranded at the Mall of America (I work at a hotel attached to it, so they put me up with a room for free) twice over the holiday season due to the storms I mentioned earlier, and then stuck at home this past Wednesday because of all the ice on the roads! MINNESOTA! :P

It is, but it's a lot emptier than it used to be. I've worked at the JW for 6 years now, and the things that get the most business are probably the restaurants. Even Nickelodeon Universe isn't that big of a draw (and I personally am still miffed they changed it to that from the original Camp Snoopy, Peanuts is a Minnesota icon dammit!).

If it's all right, we can probably just position ourselves on the battle map. I don't need line of effect, just line of sight, since the lightning bolts are vertical. So I can be in the back and Bas can be up front.

Yeh, me too. Plus, Mother Nature decided to play an April Fool's joke on us by dumping about 8 or so inches of dense, wet snow on us, causing power outages that threw off my sleep cycle due to my CPAP going offline, we weren't able to get out of our garage because of said outage, so we couldn't shovel the driveway immediately, and when we did try to shovel it it was a real struggle due to how heavy and wet the snow was. I finally limped into work about 3 hours late, and stayed late too. Leaving me tired, cranky and sore when I finally got home. Very funny, Mother Nature. Ha ha. You got me. Happy April Fools. -_-
