Thanks. I just designed a simple stamp and ordered it through Amazon. Same with my little initials stamp. With in-person games I let anyone stamp their chronicles if they want, but since you all are a captive audience I get to use my stamp on you. ;) Plus I don't get to use it all that much anymore, in-person CORE games seem to have practically stopped happening in my neck of the woods.

Part 1 was part of the GD8 and reported under that event (reporting deadline for that is tomorrow). The next two parts are just normal PbP and I'll report those under one of my generic event numbers.


@Vuldruk please post your PFS details like the template above, don't worry about the day job roll just yet, we'll get to that at the end of Part 2. Also update your profile to include the rest of the details of your character sheet so I can read it and confirm that this character is CORE.

Everyone we will start on Monday 11/18 on part 2 with the results of your decision on how you are going to travel through the desert. Start discussing it now in the Gameplay thread and we'll go from there on Monday.

Wrap up any last minute purchases in town and be ready to roll through the hot, hot, HOT, desert. As Grandmaster Torch said, "... there’s no time to waste.”

Howdy players, there is a Humble bundle that just started for a bunch of Pathfinder stuff. You can pick up over 50 items for $40 which is a pretty good deal for Paizo stuff.

There is also a Pathfinder comics one going on that includes a bunch of the first edition rule books and a 5E D&D bundle with stuff mostly from Frog God.

As a side note, if you needed a folio reroll (assuming you don't have one already) you can pick up the digital version for $1 in the comics bundle. Not that you might need a reroll for anything in these games. ;)

I read through your profile GM Scott and I see that you roll a ton of stuff for us. I'll stop having Khargrom roll perceptions since it appears you got all that handled, thanks!


Sometimes it's easier if I roll it because I have to post the results of the check and what happens next anyway. And doing it in a big block is kind of handy as I just copy and paste everything.

For special cases, like you want to look around something different, then feel free to roll for it. I didn't roll the next room because I was giving everyone the 24 hours to respond to the first room with the collapsed column and body. Sometimes it gets others confused when I start talking about the next room and they are trying to respond to the first. Just the nature of play by post.

And there are somethings I will roll in private so you can't know the results (and/or metagame). Sometimes it is more of a challenge when you don't know if you detected any traps or you're trying to sense motive.

Kind of like if you roll a 1 and I say you don't detect any traps, versus you roll a 20 and I say the same thing. You are likely to use the knowledge of your roll to think there really aren't any traps in the case of the 20 versus the case of the 1 you would probably be more cautious. That's just human nature.

I don't want to stop anyone from rolling their own dice so if you run into something where you feel I went a little overboard, just let me know and I can work on it. First and foremost I want to make sure everyone is having fun, even if the gods of random numbers are not smiling on them today.
